This is video #1 in my craft room mini series. Today, I will give you a walk through of my craft room lovingly called Studio K. It has been 10 years since my last craft room tour and I have several things that have evolved in my craft room over the years.

@karenmarie it’s one of my favorite things! I also had a bicycle just like the dress. It was so pretty. I put it in front of my door outside and it held flower pots but it was stolen! 😭😭😭

I recently moved and had to downsize to a much smaller craft room. So thank you for showing me that it is possible to (hopefully) keep all my things as long as it's organized well. I love those black ribbon holders you showed, where did you get them and what brand are they? My ribbon is everywhere and I have never found a good storage solution for mine. Loved your dress form that you hang your cards on! So cute!

Awww thank you so much! 🥰 I think it can be overwhelming at first but I like to set a timer for 30 minutes and really GO during that time. It feels like a challenge & more of a game. It helps me be more productive. And I focus on one thing/area. ❤️

Awww thank you! 🥰 I’m a hobby crafter and crafting is not my job so I want to focus my time, money, and energy on creating because creativity IS essential to me. Crafting is how I de-stress and decompress. As long as I have a place for everything and everything in its place, it’s all good 👍🏼 ❤️

I love your craft room. Mine is full of mish-mash furniture too, but that’s ok it works and don’t have a lot invested in extra furniture. I love your organization. Mine is somewhat organized, but still needs work. My room is small too so finding a place for everything is challenging. I love your dress form with your cards on it. Looking forward to watching your other organization videos.
Thanks so much! Yup, I’d rather spend my money on materials than storage. I’ve found some of my favorite things at Homegoods and Dollar Tree so it doesn’t have to be expensive. As long as it is a space that inspires your creativity!

I love it! I'm just trying to get organized with all my crafty supplies, because I have quite a few skills I craft. I can not afford all the nice beautiful expensive furniture that a lot of the other crafters have. I love how you organized all your supplies. Your craft room looks wonderful. Thank you for sharing.

@SusanKerwin Thank you so much! 🥰 I got that at Michaels years & years ago so I don’t know if it is still available. I don’t remember what it was originally for but I usually find a use for things 😂 I bet you would find something comparable at Home Goods -I’m thinking a stationary caddy?

I just got rid of all my plastic drawers on casters because they couldn’t hold weight well! I bought a bunch of IKEA Hauga shelves and Alex drawers! I’m having trouble organizing though 😬! I absolutely love your wall shelf that holds your ribbon + paint- where did you get that? Thanks for the tour! Wish me luck organizing 😉
Yes, good luck! It’s a huge endeavor but I’m sure it will be worth it! I bought it at Michaels years ago and have not seen it for a long time. it’s probably been discontinued 🙁

I have a question….if you have circular dies, why have circular punches? Not judging or being sarcastic. My guess is that you bought punches before investing into the dies. Or is there a reason I’m not seeing? Thanks 😊
Love the idea of putting glue gun stuff in a all-in-one container, and I also want a dress form 😁
I have circle punches simply because it’s faster/easier just to punch out a circle than taking out the die and run it through the die cut machine. I’m quite lazy! 😂 Good luck with your craft room!

Thank you! 🥰 I got it from JoAnn’s many years ago. It was made to be a Cricut station & the little side table was for holding the Cricut jukebox (that’s how long I’ve had it!)

The one with all the spaces that my paints & ribbon are on I purchased at Michaels years ago. If you mean the acrylic shelves where my distress oxide inks are on, they are on Amazon. I hope this helps!

Hi can I ask what you use to store your ribbons in?
The black cases are ribbon storage I bought at JoAnns. It holds washi size ribbon and multiple larger sizes. It has a dispenser on the front where you can pull out the ribbon without taking it out if the case.
Lovely. Bit worried about your distress inks though as I understand that they should be stored flat
I have not had an issue and I’ve been storing them this way for a long time. But you do what’s comfortable for you. ❤️
@@craftingwithclass1 that’s great, went to. Tim holtz seminar some years ago and that is what he was saying. Good to hear that it does not seem to have made a difference, I will stop worrying about them not being flat when I transport them to retreat etc
@fionajeffs I know he did say that in the past but his storage tins for the full size pads are upright so I guess with time we’ve learned they can be stored upright 🤷🏻♀️

I got them at Simon says stamp but I’ve also seen them at Amazon. I will add a link to the description box.
How did you attach your foam dauber to the back of the ink pads?
I use little trays but you can also use a thin piece of Velcro.

@dianeroney I looked on the ikea website but I don’t see it anywhere. I can’t imagine they discontinued it bc it was an add on to the Alex desk / drawers which are super popular. I will look into it & if I find it, I will post it in the description box. I hope it’s still available 🤞🏼🤞🏼
