I saw some mistakes while making the video, e.g. I realized that 9A8A is actually 9A7A in our next QSO.

Great Video! Quick Question, at 14:50 you immediately get xm2z in the entry field and sent him his echange, after you finnished the QSO before. I noticed that "call stacking" as well in some CWT's when I called you, how are you doing this, with the partner window? If you used the partner window, how do you get the callsigns in there if in the entry field is already one?

DXLog, but it supports 2R only. I'm using separate PC for each radio pair (RUN+Inband)

2BISQ is not fun for the callers. Example: I hear LZ5R. I have a big signal. I call. I wait. LZ5R does not respond timely. I call again. He heard me but I cannot know it. I call again and when I end that call he is in the middle of working someone. It is I he is working, but I cannot know - I was transmitting due to his long delay. The entire rythmic beauty is destroyed. Similarly frustrating, some multis even do this in the SS with two or transmitters when S&P. They call you. You reply with the long exchange. Them nothing. Nothing. Nothing. I send their call followed with "?." No response, so I CQ again and then the station sends the long exchange. It made me QRT out of frustration. I will avoid these types of operators in the future, unless it is a badly need multiplier - and maybe even then. 73 K5RX

      Hi Jim,
      > 2BISQ is not fun for the callers.
2BSIQ is just fine. There are usually no long delays /if not transmitting JQ1YYY 5NN 1111 on the other radio/
We have 2 QSOs during WPX CW 2021:
      7041 CW 2021-05-29 0509 LZ5R 599 1085 WP4X 599 613
      14008 CW 2021-05-29 0509 LZ5R 599 1084 K5RX 599 302
      7041 CW 2021-05-29 0509 LZ5R 599 1086 LY2J 599 269
      14008 CW 2021-05-29 0509 LZ5R 599 1087 AI6Z 599 070
      14008 CW 2021-05-30 0335 LZ5R 599 3572 W8WZ 599 181
      7020 CW 2021-05-30 0335 LZ5R 599 3573 K5RX 599 726
Short callsigns, low rates (4 and 2 QSOs/min) - no reason for long delays. I've probably not heard your big signal on the first call. EU QRM is in front of me. Also, I hear crashes from all the thunderstorms over Europe.
Long delays mean low QSO rates. I can assure you that the goal of all 2BSIQ ops is to avoid delays as much as possible.
2BSIQ is all about synchronization. When you are calling again without "waiting timely", the "entire rythmic beauty is destroyed". The operator you are calling has to apply a re-synchronization protocol, which costs at least 1/2 QSO.
Nowdays, there are a lot of remote stations with >1 second delays in RX/TX, 2BSIQ ops and MultiOP stations with 1 or more inband transmitters.
You have a nice short callsign. It takes less than 2 seconds to transmit at 32WPM. It means you have to wait at least 4 seconds before calling again (total 6 seconds) in contests with a serial number exchange.

@@lz5db You wrote: "2BSIQ is just fine. There are usually no long delays /if not transmitting JQ1YYY 5NN 1111 on the other radio/" I encounter these delays enough times in a contest to be irritating. You clearly do not care. Others do, however. Anyone with delays is showing a lack of consideration for the rest of us.
      "I've probably not heard your big signal on the first call." Check the recordings and RBN records. I might not run as much power as LZ5R, but most EU hears me first call. In fact, LZ5R has usually heard me first call, despite often having receiving abilities clearly inferior to those of LZ9W. BTW, static crashes in Europe are nothing compared to those in Texas. I have operated from Europe during the WPX CW. Have you ever operated from Texas or Florida in that contest? Lightning within 3000 miles is a problem on the low bands. If you have not operated from TX or FL, to get an idea of how noisy it is you may merely look at a real-time map of lightning: www.lightningmaps.org/?lang=en#m=oss;t=3;s=0;o=0;b=;ts=0;
You also wrote "When you are calling again without "waiting timely", the "entire rythmic beauty is destroyed". So, you blame me for destroying the rythmic beauty normally present? How insolent you are, my friend. I wait an adequate time period for a normal station to respond. I will not change my practice and wait 4 seconds because of the tiny percentage of 2BSIQ and remotes with undue delays compared to traditional operations. When stations with delayed responses become a significant minorty, I will quit contesting.
So, I will never call you in the future for fear of destroying the rythmic beauty of your cancerous operation. Hope you appreciate my considerateness.

@Jim Eppright I'm sorry, I didn't explain it well enough.
I have never operated from Texas or Florida. Have you ever operated from South-East Europe in that contest?
About your signal strength in EU. Both QSOs are not during the propagation maximum. Here is your RBN excerpt from the 30th of May on 40/20m. Although not at the time of our QSOs, it's still a good example how different the propagation is for Western and Eastern EU.
      photos.app.goo.gl/yrCrV1AhwN7vjb587
      photos.app.goo.gl/N9bHMzppid3BLLD67
There is also an archive in lightningmaps.org. Please, take a look.
Anyway, it's not about the S/N ratio. It's about the delays.
Yes, there are delays. They are longer than average when using more than one transmitter. Always! It doesn't matter if it is a single Op RUN + S/P or 2BSIQ, Multi OP run+inband or even worse when operating remotely. But, these delays are acceptible for most of the participants. As I said before, we are all doing our best to reduce them.
That's the key for achieving higher QSO rates.
      > You clearly do not care. Others do, however.
So, you are complaing about my delays? Well, they might be not short enough, but currently, mine are the lowest among all the 2BSIQ operators in WPX-style contests. That's because I do care! And I find motivation and joy in constantly improving my skills.
      I checked our 2 QSOs:
During the 1st one, I'd been working 3BSIQ with logged QSOs on 3 run bands. I'd swithed from 2BSIQ to 3BSIQ 2 minuted before our QSO.
During the 2nd one, I'd been working 2BSIQ + S/P. In the next munite I'd logged 2 S/P QSOs on the 3rd band. It means, I'd been transmitting on a 3rd band during our QSO and as my previous QSO on the 3rd band is on RUN, I'd obviously just switched from 3BSIQ to 2BSIQ+S/P operating style.
During both QSOs, I'd been listening you on the left ear only with mixed audio from 3 receivers: 2 directions on the band where our QSO is + the "left" receiver of the 3rd band at 900Hz pitch.
When switching between 2BSIQ and 3BSIQ, it takes me about half an hour to start doing it efficiently. That's because the operatng styles are different and during the adaptation period, the delays are an issue.
Briefly: When opearating 3BSIQ or 4BSIQ, I'm riding the edge of my capabilities. Unusual behaviour or long delays are possible, but that's all my fault. In 2BSIQ, the longest delay should NOT be more than 5 seconds.
I do unerstand your decidion to not call me, but please, don't avoid the other 2BSIQ, SO2R, MO+inband and/or Remote operators. Also, LZ5R is a club station with many good operators, who respond promptly.
