【駅探訪No.56】JR唐津線・筑肥線 山本駅にて(At Yamamoto Station on the JR Karatsu and Chikuhi Line)

山本駅は佐賀県唐津市にあるJR唐津線・筑肥線の駅。1898年12月1日に開業した駅で、一日平均乗車人員は338人（2011年）です。そんな山本駅で、駅周辺や構内、列車の発着風景を撮影してみました。
Yamamoto station, located at Karatsu City in Saga Prefecture, Japan, is a station of JR Karatsu and Chikuhi line. The station was opened on 1st December, 1898. It has a daily ridership of 338 passengers in 2011. I took this movie of station, vicinity and trains at Yamamoto station on the JR Karatsu and Chikuhi line.

唐津線は、よく利用しましたが山本駅は1回位しか行ったことないです。木造ずくりの駅舎は趣があっていいですね。

I like such wooden old station building. Apparently I tend to visit stations, which were used as rail key junction decades ago. I like feeling of nostalgia made by the story of the rise and fall of such stations.

Another perfect rail video! Great historical analysis, it is good to see how things change in railways and cities next to the railways. What a beautiful station, i can imagine how it could be renovated using fresh wood materials and turned into a small museum for passengers to see. The station would be a gem to the locals. Also, nice mixed KiHa trainset at 10,20! Very good, Omiya san!
