What did I tell you after you introduced the new tires? But you didn´t want to listen😁 "Sport" is rarely an indication of increased offroad capabilities...
But to be honest, any test shows that on icy road conditions dedicted winter tires work clearly better than any AT - restricting dirt capabilities on the other hand.

This Cooper Tyres are 4-season AT Tyres with the 3PMSF-Symbol (ESP can/will Help you).
To rate this on the trails shown.
As a AT Tyre overengineered for the requested robustness and adaptive Grip, compared to the offered level on real uneven surfaces and real rough Gravel.
SUV Winter Tyres are better on such trails as any AT Tyres and any Performance Winter Tyres which today incl. heavier BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) and heavier SUVs, while a Dacia Duster III as a Compact SUV is as light as a Compact car (VW Golf).
Michelin and Michelin's Brand Riken still offer "SUV" 4-season and "SUV Winter" Tyres. There the carcase is softer, while there is additional robustness integrated.
You need a softer carcase, compared to Stiff Winter Tyres, for such trails for the right additional dose of adaptive Grip.
Michelin has the broadest spectrum of Tyres.

The Trail you showed is rated as "okay for SUV tyres" as the Gravel there is Not too aggressive for SUV Tyres and the surface is more towards "fireroads" in forests.
That's different to any Gravel in the area of the Julian Alps (Europe, Slovenia) and slate on trails in diverse areas in Germany.
Best Tyres on such trails as shown in your Video are
SUV Winter Tyres especially on ice for control, cornering and breaking.
With SUV 4-season Tires you May have enough Traction but at cornering and breaking on ice the Performance is still much lower than I Like it.
    Premium and it's Best-Buy-4-The-Bug Brand:
    Michelin Pilot [...] SUV
    Riken Winter SUV
Today you will more often find Tyres for E-vehicles (BEV) and SUV, which means "heavier SUVs" incl. and means durability related to weight and additional Fuel efficiency.
So the tagging in the productnane is e.g. "P" Like Performance.
The tagging you should Look for is "SUV" at a Tyres with full Winter-Tyre characteristics.
SUV stand for softer carcase, while there is more robustness for normal gravelroads integrated.

@@alteregoklause1694 3-cylinders have less internal losses as the 4th cylinder is Not there.
If you do Not need the 4th cylinder, because 130hps are enough, you do Not need to decide for the so-called "high Temperature"-engine, which is best solution for a 4-cylinder engine supporting Euro6 Emission Limits.
Renault is requesting to use ACEA C1 Engine Oil in 4-cylinder at lowest HTHS-values and lowest SAPS-values on Market relative to the SAE-viscosity.
You have No Chance to select a Engine Oil with Higher viscosity at 100°C and Higher HTHS-values, which is possible at Peugeot-engines.
      Renault is LowSAPS.
      Peugeot is MidSAPS.
Direct suitable ACEA to the PSA B71-Specs is ACEA C2, while ACEA C2 is Fully compatible to ACEA C3 at the SAPS-value. ACEA C3 are 5w40 and 0w40, while ACEA C2 are 5w30 and 0w30. This also reflects why Peugeot decides for the "High Temperatur Engine" instead of the "Let calculated friction eat the Engine"-approach we use the HTHS-advantage and let it Run with lowest HTHS-values.
The remaining Main consumer is the camshaft-area. If you lower HTHS the Oil internal losses are much lower. Turning camshafts in the bearings is Like turning the spoon in a Glas of honey.
The V8 developed by Peugeot for 2008 for a model on Level of the Audi A6, A7 and A8 is a camshaft-less V8. The scheduled new V8 will be based on that Engine.
Due to the financial crisis in 2008 all over the world this new model/project was stopped. The V8 was ready then. So to reach Euro6 with a V8 you do Not Take Care about lower HTHS-values than lower of a 15w40 according SAE J300 and a 10w40 instead. 10w40 was the First SAE-class for improved Fuel Economy at lower HTHS-Values compared to 15w40, 20w50, etc..
So ACEA C2/C3 Engine oils would be fine for that new V8.
Older Dacia Models even looked Like Models of Renault.
I think even romanian Brand ARO cooperated with Renault.

      @alteregoklause1694 29 днів тому

@@espacesX Hmm. Thanx for your explanation, but I´ve some questionmarks.
I understand your argumentation for internal losses, however they are very low today. AND this is to my understanding (I´m not an engin engineer) a contradiction to your 8cylinder (which - I admit - hate compared to 6cylinder which is best compromiss from my point of view, but that´s a separate discussion).
High temperature engines are used in order to reduce emissions, nothing else. For efficiency they are pretty bad as combustion processes run best at 90-95° max so I can´t really see your point.
Camshaftless engines are under discussion for a long, long time. Still no prove available... In THEORY they might be advantegous but at which costs?
My experience with economical excuses for not finished (engin) developments from car vendors are that finally they haven´t been sure if they really works. IF they are sure they WILL find money.
I do not join discussions who builds better engines, Peugeot or Renault. For me personally they usually are both equal - equal mediocre in reality. It looks like you work for Peugeot, right?😉
I still miss your point suggesting that 3-cylinder engines are the future...?

    • @espacesX
      @espacesX 28 днів тому

@alteregoklause1694 high Temperature engines running with a Higher degree of efficiency.
Higher degree of the efficiency was the Main Goal of the ceramic engine.
If you don't need more than 130hps leave 1 cylinder away and do it without the "high Temperature engine"-approach.
Relevant Internal loss is there. There are No improvements at the camshaft Drive. Lower HTHS-value will offer e.g. 3% improved Fuel economy.
If you get rid of 1 cylinder you reduced the internal Powerloss by 1/4.
The V8 at Stellantis (Fiat Chrysler + PSA incl. Peugeot) needs to get a re-newal, while a V6 is separated by a 4-cylinder today.
And If you let run a Engine camshaft-less than this Engine will exist as high-rev engine as well. Means the Engine is Not charged. Neither by compressor nor turbo-chargers.
Inside a new engine-family you can Define a varity of Engines.
