Yes - that "belt" near the end had the same effect on me - Unreal how she climbs the ladder so quickly and still annunciates every syllable as clear as a bell - Yet another Lucy Thomas superpower. Thank you for the service comment, that means alot. This is girl simply amazing. I think she is the best singer around, bar none.
To do these songs justice she often (always?) copies the accent of the original singer. Would be odd if she sang an American song in "the Queens English" as they say. (not sure about Charles). Somehow with little changes to the melody or timing etc. she always manages to make them her own though.
Yes, I am with you on that. She uses sometimes subtle changes, and sometimes larger changes to make the song her own version, and from what I have seen, she has constant success doing that.
