Maybe you haven't experienced it yet, but it is true. I've experienced this many times and just recently, my situation totally relates to the end of this scene. I take my girl out on a date, but a day after valentines, and she freaks out and says she can't do this anymore, to my concern I tell her that it's okay, we can work on it more, she said it's been 5 years its not gonna change. I tell her I enjoy spending time with her and helping her, she tells me she doesn't need help, she can do everything herself, and she doesn't want a relationship. For 5 years we have been running through this FAKE relationship, but nothing has felt more real to me. She enjoyed it, i do too, just yeah on that date, she tells me she can't handle it anymore and tells me to find someone who would give their all to me and actually wants a relationship, I tell her because I love her, she just cries and asks me why and that I'm crazy and I should go find someone whose willing to give like I do. Just ended up a terrible day, and she ended it. After 5 years of dealing with her crappy ups and downs, she gives everything up just so she wouldn't be scared of getting hurt and to focus independently on herself and somehow can't do it if I'm in her life. I drove hours back home and she has since cut all ties to me. It's an emotional wreck cuz I see how much she cares about me but her pride takes over her. I still love her and it's only been 1 whole day since but I'll just have to move on. She told me not to give any hope because she is through, even though we weren't that bad. Sucks but movies are sometimes true, except this movie ended well and my relationship didn't.
