Started my portfolio last year with SCHD, VOO, and VUG after watching one of your videos. In terms of share price, VOO is way up (22.25%) and VUG is waaaaay up (39.62%). Thanks for the education!

Isn't VOO and VUG similar in the sense both are investing in the S&P 500? What is the difference? I thought it is generally advised against to invest in multiple ETFs or Mutual Funds?

This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.

I think a good investment portfolio should have three basic things: ETFs for diversification, dividend stocks for cash flow, and leading tech stocks. With your budget, it's a good idea to talk to a fiduciary financial advisor for expert advice.

Putting well-earned money into the stock market can't be over emphasised for first-time investors, unlike a bank where interest is sure thing! Well, basically times are uncertain, the market is out of control, and banks are gradually failing. I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. I see the rising interest rate as a very big problem, as more investors will definitely pull out more money from the Stock market. This might have worked when I was still invest-ing with a couple thousand dollars, but it is more difficult now to decide whether to pull out more than $365k from my port-folio. I know some investors still make that despite the strong bear market. In wish I could pull that feat

Strong BUY. Still early innings. NVIDIA is the dominant leader in AI and the preferred technology partner globally. Even w new competition on the horizon, NVIDIA is far ahead of the competition. 85% market share. 76% margin. Unrivaled demand for new Blackwell chip. Demand far exceeds production for Blackwell through to 2025 and beyond. No competitor has anything close to Blackwell. And forward P/E is about 33 (cheap for a high growth stock). @danielpronk  28 днів тому +1

Correct. However, this bank has a 20+ year history of great execution and margins. All the business needs to do is get back to where it was previously. Also, a 25% net margin is low in the banking industry. I don't see it staying down here, especially when management is entirely focused on increasing it.

Lulu is an interesting one. As you say its tougher to predict apparal companies. I heard there is a certain size many of these clothing companies get to and they lose their cool factor. It seems like Lulu is approaching this point. The one thing lulu seems to have is proprietary material which its users do love. So the question is can this company last the test of time.

    • @nikhileshpatil6024
      @nikhileshpatil6024 27 днів тому

--These are purely my views, here is my reasoning
      ### Lulu
Lulu is a retail consumer stock. It is easily replicable and has a low economic moat. The year-to-date correction is -53%, which is a red flag. Typically, consumer discretionary stocks grow by 7-8% annually, but Lulu faces high operating costs with very low innovation.
      ### Amazon
Amazon is an impressive business, and it's almost impossible to build another company like it. It is currently trading at a very low valuation compared to its historical levels.
      ### HDFC Bank
As a customer of HDFC Bank, I am very satisfied with its services. It is the number one private bank in India, with 7,500 branches. The merger issue is not a significant concern; the stock is currently undervalued, possibly due to emotional market reactions. Once proper evaluation occurs, the stock could skyrocket, offering a potential gain of 50-60%.
      ### Airbnb
Although Airbnb has a competitive moat, it needs significant evolution. To remain competitive, it should expand into travel, car hire, and the airline business. Regulatory compliance with local laws remains a challenge. Booking Holdings is seen as a more reliable option with everything consolidated in one place.
      ### Visa
Visa is a great business and has been on my watchlist for many months. However, it has a very high valuation and needs to correct further. It is currently too expensive.

Great analysis Daniel! One question about your valuation approach. Isn't it a mistake to base our valuation on historic market Price to CF or FCF ratio while we know market sentiment can completely change? Shouldn't we have an absolute number around 10 instead? Buffet bought Apple at around 11 Price to FCF. PayPal for example was never below 20 and now it's at 15.

Fantastic picks Daniel, it would be great if you could include a sentence or two on whether you think any stock trades at a 'no brainer' level.
Also, another interesting thing to add when you look at graphs would be change in share price vs change in eps / change in p/e. This would give a whole new perspective, for example when you look at hdfc on a 25 year chart, it would look like a pe decompression on 5 year chart but when you look at it for 25 years you would see the share price is correlated to eps.
