I just started learning Korean these days and I have been having these note taking recommendations on my fyp. At first, I was so motivated by the beautiful designs and colours, I decided to start to do it like them in the video. What I have come to realise is that, you don't need extremely pretty or neat notes to be able to learn or study smth. I feel like due to having that "I have to keep it nice and pretty" mindset when starting to write rather than that mindset of "Im going to learn smth new today!" Just kind of distracts the main reason why I'm doing this in the first place. I tried and even succeeded doing these pretty notes but I realized that I got so carried away of the thought of making it 'pretty' after taking notes in the way I feel like I'm 'comfortable' in. Notes isn't about writing down some things on a paper and and decorating it. Notes is about writing down things in which way it's the best for me to understand. Today I was taking these Korean sentence structure notes on a piece of paper and I literally didn't care about what it looks like or the alignment or literally anything. I just wrote the way I thought Im understanding it with some small labellings. After finishing I realized how much more I was able to focus on what I'm learning than I would usually be before. Though, this comment does not mean I'm telling the ppl out there who WANT to make notes look pretty and neat to stop doing it. This comment is clearly for the ppl who stress over making it look pretty and neat like others just like me. It's okay to have a little messy notes. Enjoy the process. Don't stress too much. But if you're a person who want to and always keeps their notes neat BC THEY WANT IT, then pop off, you're doing amazing great job. But if you're a person who is stressing over making it look like OTHERS', then it's okay, don't worry too much :)
My mindsets like "I hope these new highlighters and stationary I got will motivate me to figure out ways to take more efficient notes" bc I feel more motivated to try new things and such with nice items
I'm currently taking Japanese N5 class online! Since it's a 2.5-month course, we're going at the rate of 1 chapter per day. Have to memorize the day's vocabulary before class, review and practice grammar on my own after class, plus homework. So I don't often have time to reorganize and rewrite my notes. So I go to UA-cam and watch other language learners take beautiful notes. 😅
Wow that sounds intense! I took N5 after 2-3 years 😰 Well because I was in high school, but everyone’s different I guess. In that case knowing the vocab is more important than pretty notes...that comes later...much later. Good luck with N5!! Hopefully you’ll be able to take the exam with everything going on in the world too 💕☺️

I just watched this video but your notes are so pretty! I’ve been learning Tagalog with no consistent note taking method. This video is so helpful in tips and tricks for note taking. Thank you so much.
I adore your new notetaking method. I'm going to try it out so I can see if it works for me. At the moment I have a column down the left for vocab words and then the larger on the right for me to write any information from the lesson, but I find that I'm actually writing very little amounts of new vocab because they're very basic stuff that I've known for a while. Your handwriting is so beautiful!
This reminds me of myself in Elementary school to Highschool. I was always taking notes. Even when the teacher told the class that if you don't get everything written down, just create a drawing of sorts for the notes. I didn't do that. To anyone out there. When trying neat handwriting write small, place the letters next to each other carefully, take time to pay attention to how each letter connects and how big it should be. Neat handwriting is usually very time consuming and also using the write pen is great, I recommend black gel pens. They slide smoothly across the paper and leave a crisp look.

You forgot to add the correct punctuation for some of the sentences such as “そこにいくつ卵がありますか。” you don’t add a period because it’s a question so you would put “そこにいくつ卵がありますか?” but other than that your doing great😊💓!
I'm left handed and I kept smudging most of my writings even in pencil 🙄🙄 and I would always ended up with the book not in a "portrait" Position and it became a bad habit tbh

I don't rly know the name but I see that kind of notebook rly helps to practice Japanese writing
And thank u again for making such nice videos 💜💜
Yoooo we have the exact same pencil case!
Your kanji is so good! Ive been struggling to learn to write it, any tips? I can read alot of them but the writing is so difficult :(
I am learning Japanese too!!
日本語を勉強しています! But because of my beginner level in Japanese, I want to be around upper intermediate before learning a new language again. I think either mandarin or French, but I love so many languages that could completely change. :))
Im fluent in English
A2 in arabic(my native tounge)
A1 in French
Starting japanese
hope to also learn other languages
I don’t speak Japanese but your notes look super neat all the same.☺️
Keep going ❤️💪🔥
I live in Korea but I’m learning spanish and Tagalog! Next year I will rotate back to french & Hindustani or Arabic. Not sure which one yet:)
Right now I’m learning Spanish since half of my family is Hispanic and when I’m done with that I’m gonna learn Japanese since when I’m older I’m planning on moving to Japan.
Can you give tips on where you find symbols for words.??
hi, thanks for making this video and sharing your way of taking notes. Really useful! I'm learning Japanese by myself.I wonder if you're taking note on Vocabulary? There so many words to memorize!
What books did u use in the video? They look really good for taking pretty notes like yours 😰
i’m trying to learn portuguese, it’s my second day of learning and i hope i don’t give up 😔✊ do u have any recommendations on how i can learn actual helpful words and phrases, duolingo isn’t getting me anywhere by just learning, “uma menina e um menino” 😭😭😭😭
I’m learning Korean and Japanese ❤😊
Iam fluent in english kannada and also a bit of hindi and Iam learning korean and let me tell u I am not the best in taking notes😅 I also learnt a bit of Japanese (from my sis who is studying it ) I hope in the future I learn full Japanese and mandrin ❤ (I am an indian)
Wow..i just started learning Japanese and i already know vowels, k column,s column and T column...any suggestions on learning? :)
That's so cool! Your journey learning Japanese is going to be so fun! I would highly recommended the App Dr.Moku. Me and so many other people have had such a great experience learning kana. And it it super fun! (its paid but a great investment so you can get to the next stage :)
Definitely print out some practice sheets too so you can write it well and recognise them too!
Hope this helps,
Jazmine 💕✨
@@jazminelayah9302 thank you 😚❤️
