What the heck happened to all the BA 787s at Dulles they were flying the 8,9,and 10 idk why they’d be flying the 772 again that aircraft is more more low demand routes and the IAD-LHR route is anything but low demand
There isn't much capacity difference between aircraft like the 787, 777 and A350, but they'll usually base the aircraft off the type of destination it is. DC is a very business heavy route, so airlines like British Airways will prioritise aircraft with a larger Business cabin. However this also changes throughout the year as there will typically be more tourists in the summer months, whereas business is prevalent all year round, hence why airlines change things about from the summer to winter months.
The answer for that question is not necessarily the same for everyone. You need to decide what your collecting criteria will be. Collecting models can get very expensive, so you need some way to moderate which purchases you make. Once you tell me what specifically you are looking to collect, I can give you further advice. I am just over 400 models myself and most of them are airlines based in Asia.

Aviation 18 you forgot to put in Southwest Airlines they fly into IAD
They do, but their presence is fairly limited and they usually don't have aircraft that overnight at IAD

One airline I never saw in the updates but have seen a lot of in Washington Dulles was Saudia

I think it might be more premium demand (more anything besides Economy)
