I am quite shocked by how good this is. And it's great to see Neil Carter taking what looks to be a more prominent role in this band.

@mmmcosta OK cool,I got into ufo when vinnie moore did that live album with them. The tone on that album is awesome. I also got the moog/way stuff. I liked the album with Jeff kollman on guitar best. Then I got some of the ufo stuff with schenker on it. Man I wish more groups would go back to the older. Plug in and rock out approach to song writing and performance. The more skilled as a musician I get the more I go back to the older stuff.

Mr Mogg is back with a bang. UFO was the first band i saw way back in 1977. Phils voice sounds as rich and clear as it did back then. 🎤🎸🎸Oh and love this song.... definitely buying the album

Phil Mogg has been one of my favorite vocalists past 44 years , followed everything he has done, UFO, Mogg Way, etc. and this is GREAT! Glad to see him still rockin in 2024~
Fantastic tune. Personally I'll always want to hear Phil singing UFO, but this is great. Don't recall Neil Carter playing any lead guitar in his time with UFO, but he sounds great, must have been paying attention from his time with Gary Moore. And the young buck on lead sounds fantastic. Stoked to hear the whole cd.
I did catch Neil jump in with an impromptu solo once when Tonka lobbed his BC Rich into a cab because it stopped working back in the day, but that aside, he'd do bits of the duet on Rock Bottom on guitar that Paul R did on keys...

All I can say is this song is good from the first listen. No need to have to "get into it" - that happens immediately. I hope the rest of the album is as good.

I first saw Phil Mogg with UFO in about 73' or 74' at Sheffield City Hall. Never in a million years did I think I'd still be rocking out to Phil 50 years later with new music, excellent music too, still has his voice where so many don't. Definitely Britsh Rock's unsung hero, what a voice, what a career, deserves every plaudit, its one hell of an achievement
Love Phil Mogg. I realize it's probably hard not to sound like UFO since he was the voice of, but this is still a very decent band in their own right.
Hope there's a room available at Moggs Motel because i want in .... big time 😆

Sorry I am the biggest UFO fan in the Universe so there!!! I have Vinnie Moore's tour rig in my office (check VInnies website if you don't believe me) and I'm emailing MR Parker to try to acquire one of his drum sets. And I'm 6'7" 280 - so I really really hope you aren't bigger than me lol.

I will say that as Editor in Chief of my High School newspaper in 1979 I put in a front page above the spread article about UFO. Eddie Trunk calls me a huge UFO fan! And I too get sad when I think about Pete Way.

Good song but does the music come out a bit stronger than his vocals so he is a bit hard to hear?
Interesting facts. Bass player Tommy Newton looks to be the Tommy Newton that produced UFO's excellent The Monkey Puzzle album back in 06 or so. I recall seeing pics of KK Downing with Phil's band. Well it seems he plays bass in KK's Priest also. Small world.
