I had seasmoiditis - misdiagnosed by 4 foot specialists/physios for 2 years - finally got an MRI which confirmed it - and I had bone marrow adema. 7 weeks in an air cast because it was so bad - a year later still recovering from the damned cast but the sesamoid feels great. :-) Haven't run in 3 years but my sports med doc is confident I'll get there.

Good morning Dr Siegler, I recently subscribed to your podcast and I listened to your episode with Isobel (#307). I'm trying to contact her, but I believe the email address on the webpage you listed for her is no longer active. Do you have any other way of contacting her? Thanks! I've been struggling with sesamoiditis for 2 years and I'm nearing the end of my rope ...

sorry for the delay in reply...but super curious..Was it traumatic injury or 3 stress fracture? Any runner in your situation may benefit from the Metatarsal Stress Fracture Course. You can check it out here: www.docontherun.com/doc-on-the-run-products/
