Great tutorial! You did a great job of sharing a lot of helpful info in a concise manner. Would you consider creating a video on search functions within Logos?
How come when I search for a book my books don't come up in the search bar? I can search my library, but not in the search - seems like "authors" or "books" are not a "datatype". Therefore, I can't really search my "printed library" books as you showed. I have to search my library, find the book, open it, then search. I have the Pro version. Thanks for any help!
@@joshstrelecki7651 Hi Josh. 1st, when you click on the "Search" function, make sure that you have the "Books" tab selected (not "Bible"). 2nd, to select particular titles or authors, click on "Your Books" right above the search box. This will open an extra search box where you can type in any word to narrow down the books you are searching from. 3rd, now you can use the regular search bar to search within the selected books. If you rewatch the video at full screen, you should be able to see how I get there. Hope that helps!
@@matthewmcguire8263 Hey Matthew, thank you for taking the time! I watched and rewatched and could not see it nor replicated it. It's amazing how much I presume I know when I really don't. I finally got it - so thank you!
I just uploaded a new one on how to use Search Operators (both for the Bible and for your Library). Hopefully it will be helpful for you! ua-cam.com/video/Cg2a19OQUYc/v-deo.html

Excellent video! Very helpful. I hope you will make more.
@@TheDealfinder500 thank you! I may make a video on how I organize my notes & highlights across multiple reading platforms

Yes, great idea. I've put it on a list. I'm not an expert but I know my way around the search functions

It would be great if you could make more Logos based videos about how you use the software for the different use cases you have
Should we maybe sit down together and talk? I interview Logos users for that very purpose!

Antony, no way! I came across this video in my feed and saw your comment!
I plan to make a few more
