I wonder how Nikki get's this island in lore. She was transported to Miraland from Earth and wouldn't be able to afford a residence like that. Did her mother leave it to her as inheritance confusing Nikki, maybe? It was her mother's dress that took her there. I think you probably buy construction blueprints for things related to the house. The construction outfit can turn the blueprint with the resources needed to make it into the real thing instantly.

I had a feeling we would get player housing, not just because it fits the game, but the cage thing we get with the current pull is labeled as ‘furniture’ rather than a prop. Crossing my fingers for a generous placement limit!

Actually in Noah's Heart was so if I'm not mistaken o some game I played before you go in the world and copy furniture and craft them and place in your house,that would be a fun way get furniture and explore to find new stuff.
@WishMish15 Same-I don't enjoy live mode as much as build mode in Sims, but in Nikki, the gameplay is enjoyable and adding home building is just gonna satisfy my dream home building wishes(but I'll probably keep Sims around for Grim)
I really hope the houss can be like the hosues in Skyrim, In Skyrim, you can hire a house manager and a bard. It'd be nice if we could have people like maids and musicians that we could dress in Nikki's clothes. Is that too random? lol

I hope they take their time developing this bc I really enjoy running around collecting resources, petting, fishing etc. As pretty as it looks, I'm already overwhelmed by trying to finish the wish event before the deadline.😅
5:55 I mean it would be a smart way to do it as all the in-game assets are already coded for player interactions (rather than making new ones from scratch). And just like the electrician's outfit they wouldn't necessarily need to let the players take _any_ item to make a blueprint, the could have specific ones that you could collect _that_ way, put some others in chests, some given by NPCs, shops for purchase (bling and irl currency), etc.
Coming from someone who plays Love Nikki, they do have a little room/house feature there. With that, there are four standard perma banners and every once in a while you'll get one or two furniture set banners with specific styles. You can craft different bits by collecting materials and tinkering around with the crafting thingy, but I never understood that. It felt a little complicated. So Infinity NIkki may be similar with a more simplistic crafting mechanic. It looks like this could be a mega expansion on the system they already have in LN. I've never played Shining Nikki, so I can't provide that kind of insight.
the serenitea pot in genshin is bigger (it's just one island at the start but as you level you eventually have like 4-5 i think) but it does have some very unfortunate limitations due to 'loading' issues. i really hope we're gonna be able to place as much as we want here and keep a lot of pets :)
This will definitely be the game I play between FF expansions. I’ve played for a week now and loving it. The housing looks amazing. I just hope there is not too much you are “forced” to do like in Palia. I totally burned out there because of everything you kinda had to do to progress the game. I really hope the housing part will be sort of separated from the story so we can do it in our own pace and when we want, not when the game tells us to.
Really excited for this! I just hope we can freely choose the colors we want. That's the only issue I have with Infinity Nikki. Colors are locked behind other colors for outfits or random for Eurekas. I hope that's not going to be the case for decorating our house. The one thing I liked about my short time with Palia was creating the house and decorating it. I loved collecting the plushies and decorating with them.
I do hope, gardening and bug catching and whatnot can be grown and collected on the island, taking care of bugs and fish would be cool. Like being limited to 3-5 of each type
Wow! Imagine if the concept is you can go around the whole world scanning different elements to bring them into your own island! It really makes sense because the assets are already in game but it would give players so much creativity! Also it would give another reason to go back around the world exploring, to pick up any missed whim stats etc or even make it more fun when running around for resources! It actually would be such a clever concept and nothing I’ve seen before 🩷🩷
Im guessing we'll be creating those. Like, we can't take that bibcoon plushie from the club itself but we'll probably have a quest there and the reward would be the plushie sketch so we can recreate the item. As for other "public stuff" it can be random between getting inspiration after an event/quest, to receiving sketches as prizes or gifts, to randomly finding sketches within the overworld chests/"investigate" spots. Just like the same with how we're getting clothes sketches except it's for items and furnitures. But in my imagination, some things won't give housing item sketches like style battles even from npcs and the heart of infinity. That these 2 things will only specifically reward special dresses and materials. 😅

it seems they intend for us to use a whimcycle. however obviously exploring with the whimcycle is a little difficult and annoying to keep track of. So perhaps they could add an outfit that calls a mount like a whimcycle or other things like a stallion. Kind of would make the whimcycle stations obsolete though so idk how they could balance it.

I think that we will get sketches for something like the bibcoon statue. So you accidentely come across such a thing , like we had with the expedition book and take notes and then it shows you which materials you need for crafting it. it would be kind of weird to just take the thing with you at home *lool* but i guess we have to wait and see. Sometimes i wish they wouldn´t announced stuff like that because it makes me too hyped and it took way to long to be in the game xD I kind of hope that they will do the customization like in Palia! When I first played this game, I fell in love immediately, but the only thing that bothered me was a home of my own.

So you accidentely come across such a thing , like we had with the expedition book and take notes and then it shows you which materials you need for crafting it. it would be kind of weird to just take the thing with you at home *lool* but i guess we have to wait and see. Sometimes i wish they wouldn´t announced stuff like that because it makes me too hyped and it took way to long to be in the game xD
I kind of hope that they will do the customization like in Palia! That is something i would really love in IN.When it comes to decorating i would say Palia is the best game .Pretty sure we allready have that island, the one besides Florawish you can´t reach at the moment , eact the one you showed xD Haha was too exited and wrote this down before getting to the point where you metioned all that stuff
I don't expect it but it would be nice if you could choose which area your house is in. Imagine if you could have one on the water train route.
