I’m very sad that they don’t have the Maleficent Dragon, Croc behind the Jolly Rodger (since they brought back Peter Pan), and Ursula’s Eels. Doesn’t quite feel like Fantasmic without them 😕 However, your footage is great! Thank you for filming this :)
Tbh, I should have expected it, but I am a little bit sad that they did not replace the dragon. The ending feels a lil lacking, but at least everyone is safe now!
Good chance they're still working on something. The current "dragon" scene is basically what they did whenever the dragon was temporarily not working on any given night. Almost feels like they are leaving room for something, otherwise I feel they would have developed a more complete alternative ending. Just a feeling I have
I'm just glad peter pan is back! I don't care about the other replacements, the dragon was cool but I was very sad when they had the piritesof the Caribbean instead of the classic peter pan... I'm also just a peter pan fan

Front and middle center viewing is usually restricted to those who purchase Dinning packages at Blue Bayou, River Belle, and Rancho Del Zocalo. Spots usually fill up quick even with the exclusive seating, so it’s recommended to show up an hour or two early for the best view.
I worked FANTASMIC 9 years and trying to watch the show and remembering all the cues STILL great did barges spot light island raft pre show 9 years back in the day when we had the original dragon buckey lot of great memories tech support
So glad to see this show back!! One of my favorites for sure. Any tips on best view and when to save a spot? I don't see a Virtual Queue for seating areas, so assuming it's first come first serve? Taking my son and my nephews next week and definitely want to share this magical show with them!!
Here’s what I like and don’t like. 1. I don’t like the old choreography mixed with the new, it feels forced 2. They changed Kaa’s head and now it’s looks more like a blow up snake but before it looked practical idk it just looks different 3. Peter Pan is back WHOOHOOO but…. I’m gonna miss Pirates. But I’m not a fan of the projected Croc rather than the animatronic one 4. I understand that the magic carpet lift may have gotten damaged in the fire so I’m not to bothered by this but maybe instead of Aladdin and Jasmine dancing on stage they could’ve just put them on a float like the other Disney couples 5. Yes we are all aware of the dragon not being back due to the fire and we know that eventually Disney is gonna bring it back but….this show all around feels forced and unfinished. The show might’ve needed more time to recover before being brought back. Fantasmic has had its ups and downs over the years but that hasn’t changed the love people have for it and in order for those feelings to stay Disney has to do better. Idc what condition Fantasmic is in I’ll watch it whenever. But when it’s like this I’d prefer them to take all the time they need to because this feels like they just wanted to get it out to shut people up.

Wow. That is really lack luster. Hollywood Studios version is so much better. Which surprises me, usually their entertainment is amazing. What a shame. They should've spent the money to make the show better. Now our Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios is better.
The dragon caught on fire so they replaced it with maleficent. Although, maleficent was in the original fantasmic, Disney made the maleficent part longer. So don’t hate on this show for changing. It’s not Disney’s fault, plus it’s still the same as the original. The dragon is just no longer there.

They might be repairing the dragon.. Idk. it might be gone for a temporary period of time.
