I hear you loud and clear about chronic pain leading to depression and it can become a very vicious circle. I’ve been battling this for 39 of my 69 years of life. It was scary because I thought I was going to lose my ability to walk but I’m coming back from there. I wish nothing but the best for you. You’re doing remarkable work.🙏🙏🙏If You’re surrounded with the most positive people possible. You’re lucky compared to me because I’m basically alone with one sister left for a family and about for good friends. Treasure everyone in your life.

Brother keep your head up. I know from experience it’s 100x easier said than done. Mental health is more important now than it’s ever been and is a key component to a good recovery from surgery. You have wonderful people around you that care about you and many of us that are not close that care as well. We all love you and want you happy and healthy!
Will man glad to see you getting things sorted I know how important it is to look after your mental health as it helps with your physical health, days when I'm struggling I always think of that scene in finding nemo where they keep saying "...just keep swimming!" But always remember to keep putting one foot in front of the other. Those days where doing big tasks seem impossible look for little tasks as long as you keep moving forward. Absolutely love the terrarium builds you do so looking forward to some more of those

I'm so sorry you are in pain. I can emphasize with you. I had my first spinal fusion at 9 years old. Way back then, they used bone to build a bridge between L4 and L5. In 2009, I broke that fusion so I had to have another fusion. I was doing great although I dealt with pain that I could control with roxicodone. Five years ago I fell and have lived in agony since. I've suffered so much that suicide has crossed my mind several times. Just know that you will be in my prayers. I will ask Him to allow you to heal quickly and to guide the doctors' mind and hands. I will be asking him to lead you to the best pain management and neurosurgeon. Until you get relief, keep putting one foot in front of the other. Please don't allow the pain to keep you from your dreams. I did/have given up my dreams and I regret it. Sending you love, peace, and respect.

Hope you feel better. Sometimes life throws you a curve ball but we have to see our way through it. I just got diagnosed with possible colon cancer and waiting my surgery. Trying to think positive and be happy. I will keep you in my prayers.
I would HIGHLY suggest that you talk to at least two neurosurgeons before committing to spiral surgery. Make sure you ask the expected probability of a successful surgery and what is the worst case recovery time. Been there. When you have surgeons tell you 30% and 12-15 months, you need to assess other options.
Chronic pain is awful. I’ve lived with it since forever and yes causing depression and anxiety for me as well. Take it one day at a time is my first suggestion and the second is it could be worse is my second. These are 2 comments I tell myself every day to keep myself motivated. Take care and I wish you a life without pain or as little pain as possible.

Im 26 and I have a horrible back from skateboarding and baseball when I was younger and I have become a huge Kratom addict because of it because I've been to multiple chiropractors and a spine specialist and they cant do much for me so it was pain medication for the foreseeable future and I didn't want to use the crazy strong stuff because I like it too much so I chose to use Kratom instead and its helped a good amount so I know how you feel with the back pain I hope it gets better for you and I'm happy you are back brotha.

Thats how it happens! At least some of the time . People get hurt or have chronic pain are prescribed pain meds and before you know it you’re eyes are pinned,your scratching your nose and all over and then youre just stuck!!!! I hope you’re doing better Will ❤

I agree u do not have to explain urself with ur health to get better it takes time I remember when I had a problem with my kidney on my left Side it put in me the hospital for a week and that was a couple years ago and when the Dr gave they ok for me to go home I still had to stay home and recover another week I didn't tell anyone my family was the only ones who knew and when I Got better after being home for a week and was be able to do the normal things again I only told some friends that was it and I haven't had any issues since and I pray every night ir.doesn't happen again and I hope u keep getting better as well
And I also depression and anxiety as well they are not fun if I didn't habe medicine to help with it I would be back to the way I was when I lost my father in 2007 my depression beens ok but my anxiety has been acting up I been trying to do things to help with my anxiety the medicine does help sometimes but sometimes it doesn't so I try to find things to do so my anxiety isnt so bad
