Hi Neil I always listen to your podcast this one I find more interesting because of the spurs football club ..I am living in south africa for 48 years coming from Scotland ...I would like to point out to that cheeky arrogant man for tourism who spoke like a dictator ...my family are very big spurs supporters in London for many years a very rich club while living in Scotland my father was in football for many years 35 years..football is a game that's passed down over years from our fathers and our grand fathers football is an area game if u live in that area that becomes your team till u die spurs is north London what's very important for that cheeky guy to know if spurs do anything no other football supporter will follow what they say they will not listen to any thing they say or support like south Africa...so my way of thinking south Africa will get nothing if they put in one billion to a football team that comes from north London area only ...I listened to another podcast say Trevor Noah who travels the world speaks to the USA every day would do a better job in speaking about south africa and for free ..thanks Neil and hi to your supporters ..Daniel

Neil. The trouble with society today is. People do not want to stand alone with their thoughts as they are deplicated as odd, not part of the crowd. Surely if you really believe in something you have the backbone to stand up and be proud of your stance.
Some of us expats need to be away from home because in our own country we can't find good jobs, we leave our wife and Kidz in south Africa and then we hear how the schools are forced to close because some people feel the need to burn and destroy things in town because they don't get service delivery, I get that they are angry, what I don't get is when cause people harm who has the same problem as you? If you are unhappy about service, you need your attention on the people not giving you the service and not the people in town or the businesses in town.
I'm in Ghana and let me tell you what, the military here get used daily, if people come cause problems here at the mine I'm working on, the military will be here shortly and they shoot with real guns, that's the way a government can keep order in a country, the military gets used , they don't get a salary staying at home doing nothing like in south south Africa.
