There hasn't been a conservative government in Virginia since I was in middle school, this is amazing!
He's more conservative than McAliffe, but he's likely more of a Mitt Romney than Mike Huckabee

So happy that I no longer hear almost daily on the news, conveniently-timed and drawn out news stories leading up to the election about all that went wrong under the previous administration and school board. People saw through him when one of the first things he did was to install a tip line to report teachers if they taught all of America's history.
The God I worship doesn't involve himself in politics. Murdering a baby whether at 6 or at 15 weeks is still taking the life of an innocent baby.
I was so close to leaving the state and heading to Texas or Florida, instead I decided to close on property here and am SO glad I did! We got Virginia back! I knew we would!

As a Californian, our eyes are open, and have been for awhile. There wasn't a reason for Newsom to be recalled, and thankfully he wasn't. I'm disappointed that McAuliffe lost the race, but at the end of the day, it's still just Virginia. California is as liberal as ever, Texas is getting bluer by the day, and the country as a whole is slowly transitioning to a more progressive lifestyle. You are a member of a dying ideology, and one day, you'll die with it. Until then, have fun, and I mean that genuinely. Meanwhile, democrats will be fighting for legislature that will save the planet, and allow your children and grandchildren to actually live in some semblance of a pleasant world.

McAuliffe lost this. He kept putting his foot in his mouth... on purpose. A man who says the things about parents and education the way he did doesn't deserve any office. This was about issues, but this was also about McAuliffe's horrid personality.
This was T-Mac's race from day one. Just a couple months ago, he was up more than 30 points.
But, he was derisive and dismissive of parents, he didn't run a single issue based ad, he acted as if he was running against Trump.
Terry did this to himself. It was his race to lose, and he didn't disappoint.
I supported him halfheartedly, but the first debate was a nightmare. His best argument was "I've done this before." Youngkin, by comparison, was composed and reasonable. If I hadn't known he was the Democrat, I wouldn't have been able to tell.
100% This will be a case study on how to throw your own election.
Not to mention he wouldn’t shut up about Trump lol
I've only voted in presidential elections. I'm in my early 30s, for me and most of my friends this is the first time we have gone out to vote for governor.
