A lot of people talk so much trash about the coffee maker and pods but man those give you that great smell of coffee brewing in the morning, plus you can just go downstairs to get a better cup. ☺️☺️☺️
Rick Thanks for taking a few minutes from your live stream on Wednesday to meet me and my wife and once again the Thanks for the collapsible cup tip it really came in handy
Those pillows are soooo comfy. I absolutely loved this hotel. The Mac and cheese at the New Dutch with the chicken is a good affordable dinner option and having the water taxi is such a convenient plus💯❤
Thank you for this review Rick!! This is where I'll be staying with my family in May! I've seen other video reviews but this one is by far my favorite! I'm so excited for this trip 🙃
We stayed there for the November meetup and can’t wait to go back! Amazingly comfortable beds and pillows and because I knew they had the Keurig style coffee makers I was able to bring several pods of my favorite brew from home!
Thanks so much for this video, Rick! We are staying at SF in 12 days for Christmas. It will be our first time there. This makes us even more excited! We hope to run into you and Nikki if you are doing a Christmas Eve live stream.
Thanks for this video! I love your resort tours. Your video for cabana bay was the reason we chose to stay there the last two weeks. You and Nikki showed the beautiful view out the window of the volcano from volcano bay. I decided not to pay for a special view, so I figured my room would look at a parking lot. I was shocked when my standard view allowed us to overlook some of the volcano bay Park. Plus we were on a high floor, so we had a beautiful skyline.
Such a beautiful awesome and amazing hotel which is something I would consider if I ever take a trip to universal studios Orlando thanks for the video and recommendation Rix 👍 this is amazing.
Loved our stay. We had an upper floor water view. Could see the parks! Great pool area. Water taxi was nice but long queues with neighbouring resorts using the service. Wish they included some sort of Express Pass. Maybe the Limited that’s good for 1 ride per attraction
So much to like about SF - New Dutch is great, the gym is spacious, Amatista breakfast is delicious, rooms are nice and clean - but it’s also the best-smelling lobby in Orlando 😁
Universals hotels seem to be a much better value than any of Disney’s, will be interesting to see if people opt to stay at universal while doing Disney trips in the future
My wife and I were there a month ago for our honeymoon! Fantastic place! Be warned though, Amatista cookhouse is EXPENSIVE (even for 'theme park resort' standards)! If you're willing to splurge, by all means go ahead as the food was good. But I don't think any basic breakfast buffet is worth $92 CAD for just two people. Other than that, it was great! We would stay there again. Oh! And don't forget to take advantage of the reusable cups that they sell. You buy one cup, and you can refill it as many times as you'd like around the resort. Definitely the best bang for your buck when it comes to non-alcoholic drinks!
The only potential drawback to Sapphire Falls us that it doesn't provide free, length-of-stay Express Passes, as the top three Universal resorts do. Should have mentioned that in your tour, Rick. However, depending on one's park plans and/or the time of year, Express Passes may not be needed. SF is certainly a very nice hotel for the price.
Soo far I’ve stayed at Sapphire 5 times all throughout the year mainly during summer months. With the early park admission we’ve been able to ride every single ride we wanted multiple times before the parks got all crazy, so for us express passes aren’t a must. Stayed a few times at Royal Pacific and I honestly don’t enjoy it, Hard Rock it’s pretty cool and beautiful but it’s not for everyone, Portofino it’s amazing and definitely would recommend but Sapphire falls its our absolute hands down best pick from price to Rum selections at Strong water I’ve never been let down by it.
The pet policy states that you cannot leave your pet alone in the rooms so you have to pay $15 a day to use the on site kennels, they don't seem that big.
How does the self-parking work? Do I just drive in and get a ticket when I arrive , then what? Do I use my room key to get out? Does the hotel give us vouchers?
Stayed there for the second time this year for hhn but it was the week of Hurricane Ian...glad I was by myself...just don't get the barn doors on the bathroom.....no real privacy 🙎

Aww man, we're here, too! Got this crazy Hospitality sweet. I love this hotel!

This is pretty awesome!! 😎 Cannot wait to check it out in the summer time.

We stayed in 2019 and loved it. The water taxi was so convenient and relaxing.
We are at this hotel now. We are loving it
I love this resort. The beds and pillows are so comfortable that I didn’t want to get up for early park entry.

Just left there yesterday and already miss it. SF is our favorite!!
Thank you for this review Rick
Thanks for this, nice reminder of our trip there back in August. All the best from the UK
Great video, thanks Rick.
Love that place, miss going there
I love your hotel videos. Very informative and helpful. Keep it up
Love this hotel. They did a great job.
I stayed there for Thanksgiving! Loved the hotel and the tropical theme! The water taxi made it so easy to get to City Walk!
thanks! ill be staying their the last week of jan. going to be my first solo vacation! cant wait
Spent my honeymoon there in the summer of 2020, it was worth every penny. Having the water taxi was amazing!
This is my favorite hotel! They have the best service!

SF is my go to resort. Typically the Sapphire Suite. Just got back from a 2 night stay at Portofino and it made me appreciate SF so much more.
Great review Rick! I like seeing these hotel reviews gives me a good over view of what there is to offer. 👍

We haven't stayed at that one yet. I think it's next
Do they give life jacket for the kids to use in the water taxi? Thank you!
Sure wish l could have made that trip this time. 😪
Does every room come with a handsome devil in the entryway? 😂
Lol
I see they don't have microwave in the room...Do you know if they have a warming station like the Aventura Hotel?
Did the fire alarm go off
The alarm clock also charges your IPhone.
Is this the place with “rix’s restaurant?”

Just drive in, hotel front desk will charge to your room the number of days you are staying, room key card to exit

Was not impressed with the breakfast at amatista cookhouse at all bacon too soggy for my liking
