Personally witnessing from inside the court (I was the net ballperson on the right by the cameras) Monfil's 360 shot was something extraordinary and unique to watch!
Never seen a 360 rotation for a Samsh before. Highly athletic and entertaining - the high point of the video (6:21). Rest of the trick shots were amazing but we have seen them before in different forms.
Nadal's will is not from earth but from the Gods of Mount Olympus. He doesn't understand the concept of giving up, and that is why he is the greatest fighter the game have ever seen, period. You can defeat him, but he will try until his last breath.
I came here because I was watching prince of tennis on Netflix and they make it seem like it’s so intense and thought they were just exaggerating but now I see that it really is intense!
2:03 its funny the commentator cant comprehend how he shot that so hard :D the position for his whole arm when he does that shot is the most natural position.
Seles no doubt shone brightly for a fairly brief few years. Her being stabbed by a crazed person certainly didnt help prolong her rein , but as others point out , she had down times / ebs n flows prier to the event - and got to this final pushing to the limit after. For longevity at the top , and all round as a player its hard not to regignize Graf as one of the true greats
Only Federer can play that shot in a serious match like this in a gram slam. Unbelievable. The most amazing thing is that he is not a youngster anymore, and still can do this today, easy. Longevity, technique, you name it. GOAT, along with Nadal and Djokovic. We are graced with three marvels and the same time.
The fake volley and then tap over the net was so creative
Fake smash not volley
@Rohit Srikanth it’s fake smash not fake volley .know your tennis 🎾
@Rohit Srikanth it bounced dude how can you say a volley when it bouces
It was cold af
@Rohit Srikanth except for the fact that it did hit the ground!? lol did you even watch the same video we did
Gael Monfils is not just a tennis player but a brilliant entertainer as well!
that 360 from Monfils was amazing
Monfils is amazing
don't forget that he tried it on match point
Plouk 01 yep
Agassi what a shot
v much like an NBA dunk, rly rly cool :D
The tweener by Federer against Djokovic is Mesmerizing
You could say that shot is the turning point of Djokovic from title contender to the Beast. Remember what he hit after that shot...

Roger, Gael and Nick 🔥🔥🔥
Monfils with the 360 no scope + win we were all hoping for; never disappoints :D
Amazing talent from all players... THANK YOU US Open !

i love when rogers absorbs the crowd and the excitement
Monfils makes it look so easy. He and Nole are my idols
Same 👍
That Agassi shot was insane like how if I were to try it I would probably hit the opponent and dislocate my shoulder
How did Monfils keep his eyes on the ball while turning 360 degrees in the air on match point?????
he doesn't, he can guess where the ball would be after the 360 motion
Its really not that hard if you can track a ball
Same way 12yos pulled of 360 no scope really
Justin Luong looool but true
People say "it's easy it's on match point" but still, you need a lot of confidence to try..
Federer’s tweener is harder than my forehand
the first guy, he probably could've returned it if he tried, but he was stunned by the beauty of federar's shot..
Federer’s classic response when he does something spectacular: the put your hands in the air and shrug it off
6:26 Amazing!
Imagine he missed it...😰😜
8:05 "we'll be seeing that highlight for years"
*me currently watching 21 years later*
Me seeing it two years after you
Agassi forgetting his PE kit at home and having to scavenge at lost and found.
Haha that was my first thought as well..
What an outfit for a tennis match 😂
66
and the watch too
Oversized clothes were a thing during the mid 90s.
Meanwhile his opponent was wearing table tennis kit… fortunately that crazy pattern trend died in tennis
I reckon Nick's facial expression is going to do down in history as being synonymous with US Open 😂
Recordar todos esos jugadores y ademas esas hermosas jugadas son realmente nostalgicas
7:58 this is really satisfying to watch for some reason😂
DaBassBoss Because satisfying is the code word in all entertainment 😉
6:23 He probably heard the *"FINISH HIM!"* voice clip in his head before doing that 360
Gotta love Corretja's reaction.
My favorite was Monfil’s 360 degree overhead! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌🙌🙌🙌👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
AMAZING SHOTS
that hotdog from federer was fire
Roger is the best with the crowd, hes a crowds man
That was Phenomenadal!
That Agassi shot tho 🔥🔥🔥
The dabul and federer shot is just iconic
I think the umpire at 5:09 invented a new score, called "Love - Thurtuh" xD
He made a new launguage 😂
😂😂😂
Nick and Gael , the best , hands down ❤
These shots are all cool but the way the ball girl dodged Monfil's shot at 0:41 was awesome!
That Tommy Robredo shot was insane!
“ That is phenomeNadal”
Best thing I’ve heard today
PHENOMENADAL!
I don't watch really often Tennis but man O Man these are some classic Vibes🎾👌👳❤️
Us: so how many tweeners will you put in the video?
Editor: Yes
Outstanding!
No Fed around the net post vs Kyrgios in 2018?

@@peteMickeal33 Nadal gave up at Wimbledon
It's as if the commentators can't think of higher praise than it being "the shot of the day".
Not for nothing but, that point between Federer and Dabul was absolutely smoking BEFORE the tweener.

rogers shot at 1;58 is insane.
That 360 tho!

Nice vid
All the female spectators went wild when Schiavone hit that tweener, back then it wasn't as popular as it is now and you rarely saw women attempt it.
It's interesting that women don't do it more often. They certainly have less chance of inflicting injury upon themselves.
Radwanska did this so many times
The Sabatweenie. Sabatini did it decades ago....alot. She also dove for shots.
Mary Pierce hit that shot many times as well.
the clip on 0:58 was insane

The best trick shot was Tsonga one- handed backand🎾
Monfils 360 ?
4:49 when you have to join the boys for beer after.
There's tweeners, there's lobs, then there's Rafa hitting lobbed tweener
I am surprised not to see dustin brown. He is the king of trick shots
Schiavone a pro woman player with a single handed backhand. Don't think I've seen that nowadays.
