I remember first seeing this as a little boy back in 1965. I grew up in Los Angeles. Back then, they would she horror movies on Saturday afternoons on local channels, 11(KTTV) and 9(KHJ) I first saw it on channel 11 on a show called "Chiller" It fascinated and scared me. Even the music score in those movies scared me, but I love it.
Hey, you just can't go wrong with Zsa Zsa Gabor in space!! I remember the days when local channels would show old movies all the time, especially on weekends. That's how I managed to become familiar with and fall in love with these wonderful flicks. So many great memories. Most young people are never exposed to older movies, which is really sad. Thank you so much for watching this video and commenting! Happy New Year!!
I was browsing my library's movie collection some years ago and came across this one. The cover alone grabbed my attention! I had to see it! And boy did I enjoy it, lol. I enjoyed it so much that I included it for my X-mas presents that year. Every year I make presents for my coworkers for the holidays. That year I painted wooden frames. Each one had a movie theme and I knew I had to do Queen of Outer Space! Fantastic choice Mike!
Hey Mike! Yeah, I have not seen this film nor do I think I have ever heard of it. Some interesting trivia you provide concerning the film. I remember Zsa Zsa Gabor on Phil Donahue's show where she made a big deal out of being arrested by a cop. I think she was drinking alcohol in a car or something like that. She was of a considerable older age at the time but I recall one member of the audience, who was a young man, told her how beautiful she was. It was just to stir up some controversy like some of those talk shows used to do.
Damn, you’ve got a lot of Queens in your collection! Just love your humorous undertone here...just perfect for discussing this film. A planet full of hot women that actually want men? Sounds bitchen!
The only thing that turns me off from this is Zsa Zsa. If it had Jayne Mansfield or Mamie Van Doren instead, I'd see it in a heart beat. But maybe I'm asking too much from such a silly movie. As always, thanks for the unique recommendation!
I suppose Miss Gabor is an acquired taste. But I think she makes this particular silly movie the classic that it is. Mamie would have been great in this, but she was a lot different than Zsa Zsa. And without the Hungarian accent!
Queen of Outer Space has been one of my fave camp classics for decades. Great choice.
What a classic!! I've always loved this movie. Thanks for the comment!

I think that I need to see this movie....love the poster artwork - it looks like the top of a pinball machine to me... fun video Mike..
You should see it, because it's great fun. Undoubtedly Miss Gabor's ultimate screen triumph!!
Great B movie (or D, even) as always, Mike!
Z is probably the appropriate classification, but I love the movie anyway!!
Love this cheesy movie! I actually bought the Blu-ray. Can't get enough of these bad 50s and 60s movies.
