I felt lost :( I felt so sad , but God is empowering me like never before! I feel energetic!
I was literally at my lowest yesterday and today I woke up with a strong urge to skip my morning routine and go to the farmers market. This felt counterintuitive, but turned out to be exactly what I needed. You just described the last 6 years of my life. It just got worse, after I came to Los Angeles. I've watched this state fall apart, over the last 5 years. The wealthiest people are moving their businesses and homes, elsewhere, just because they can. They're pretty much letting the homeless and the people with mental health issues, substance abuse issues, or a dual diagnosis of mental health and substance abuse issues, have California. There are over 3 million people, in just Los Angeles, and this place isn't as clean as it looks, in movies. Unless they need to close an outdoor area off, for filming, or there is going to be a political rally, there's trash and/or tents and makeshift outdoor shelters, for individuals, couples, and entire families, everywhere, even places where nobody would ever think to see that, such as Beverly Hills. If this is how bad it is, in one of the most highly populated cities in America, I'm wondering when I'll be getting inspired to be looking into other countries. There are places in England and Italy where you can buy an abandoned house for $1, they just require that you do any major restoration work there might be, and they usually within a 2 year time period to work with. This was a really good reading.
