Always good to listen to John being interviewed. Living in Australia, interesting that John mentioned my home country a few times. Brewing generally is very popular downunder. Australia was the most lockdowned country in the world during the pandemic and certain home hobbies such as brewing and still use boomed. I recall a shortage of equipment and supplies during the pademic.
I enjoy beer brewing because of its flexibility and range of equipment available. You can set up with a basic bucket and airlock and move up to professional scale methods and equipment
I tend to focus on the quality of the raw ingredients and brewing techniques.
    Super interesting hobby😊

Thanks! We're lucky now to have the best ingredients, equipment and information ever available to home brewers.

Thanks for your time gentlemen! I believe that is true, that there will be more brewers coming into the hobby. It's so easy and fun and you can make great beers. And currently in our area four packs are anywhere from 15 to $25. Cheers

I am probably in the minority but I believe after 10 years of decline we are on the verge of a turnaround in home brewing!

I still brew with my Blichmann 42 L Conical I bought in 2005. Best investment I ever made in homebrewing.

Yes, always invite friends to Your Homebrew Day, you never know who might catch the homebrew bug. I also use it as an ice breaker with veteran whom have some adjustment disorders 😊❤
