I have been fascinated with crypto trading bots recently and decided to try out Pionex. Because of this here is a Pionex crypto trading bots tutorial for your viewing enjoyment.

He made a big mistake of running the bot with 10k. He should have done dollar cost averaging and started 10 bots at different time with 1k. They would performed better.

@@jdlouis15 Dollar-cost averaging is a good strategy for investors with lower risk tolerance since putting a lump sum of money into the market all at once can run the risk of buying at a peak, which can be unsettling if prices fall. Value averaging aims to invest more when the share price falls and less when the share price rises.

Trading bots are mostly scams... but there are exceptions. You just need a lot a patience to backtest and run many bots, discard the ones that are scams and keep playing with the ones that are good. EDIT: since so many of you ask, yes I use Galileo FX .

You should be able to aggregate total gains instead of each transaction for bots!

There are quite a number of states that are NOT able to participate in Pionex. These states include Louisiana where I live. The email I got from Pionex states that the excluded states are New York, Texas, Utah, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Montana, Mississippi, Missouri, Wisconsin, Arizona, Arkansas and Wyoming. And even though Louisiana isn't on this list, it is excluded too.

Lets say you started bot and price go up instantly bot opens short positions but price is keeps rising soo you will loose money right ? So Is this bot like binance futures grid bot with 1x leverage long and short positions or different like buying and selling to spot wallet and actually buys and sells ?

Yes, the same with manual trading. Taxes are already deducted from the gains shown in the platform.
These definitely take the emotions out of trading.
If you invest a grand at the right time. It can nicely help towards paying monthly mortgage with out doing anything. Just start it and collect profits once a week or month.

This sounds like a nightmare come tax time. Very cool, nonetheless for alts. Still think hodling the underlying for top coins is the better more tax-favorable approach.

so for the old guy here to understand... you only make profit when the bot is trading BTC in this instance when it is above the price you started your bot at. If the price drops, the buy and sells if you are making small amounts on those trades even if they are below your starting point won't the add up to profit if there is enough of them even if the price is lower?

Would you recommend the bitcoin moon bot over Kucoin spot grid bot with the same parameters? Are the bots similar?
Moon bot is great if you want to set it and forget it for a long time. Kucoin is good on grid trading and rebalancing but Pionex has wayyy more options. One big one is the trailing stop loss bot. Basically no big exchange has that feature
Wouldn't it be difficult to file tax from it since the bot is always making transactions like selling?

Both Kucoin and Pionex are good for bots! Pionex is cheaper and more options bot wise :)
What are you doing to make sure they’re not rigging your account since you’re an influencer. It’s very common for sites like this to rig accounts of influencers.

I only make enough money to fund my crypto Roth IRA, so for now, I can't spare extra for bots. But this video and your other one on bots made me think more positively about bots than I would have. I already have made profits outside of my Roth on a couple of coins that regularly bounce between about the same highs and lows, and a bot would be an easy way to make money on that. I just wonder about the tax-reporting headaches of dozens or zillions of crypto trades, along with the costs of crypto-reporting software to try to get a handle on all that. What are you using to get your taxes on constant trading in order?

I bought it at its peak, if I didn't use the trading bot, the profit should be less.

Well, the interesting point about it is will it be more profitable than just holding a currency over a longer period, right? Found it kind of funny (though of course saying nothing in the end) that even for that short period your profit from just buing in the beginning and selling in the end would have been some 8.8%

With the stock market, just learning to set limit orders vs manually buying and selling with market orders can make a huge difference.

I wonder how the grid trader will react in a pump and dump. Grid traders eat "fertilizer" when they try to buy against the prevailing trend. They continue to accumulate a larger and larger losing position if they taking trades against the long term trend. That is how they tend to go broke.

Because the IRS classifies cryptocurrencies as “property” rather than securities, the wash sale rule apparently does not apply if you sell a cryptocurrency holding for a loss and acquire the same cryptocurrency shortly before or after the loss sale. Same with trading bots :)

You can start with less but will make less or course
Only invest what you can afford to lose is my motto. Sure you can make more if you invest more, but then so can your losses. And with leveraged ones you can make/lose even more faster.

I am a Patreon member myself. There are different levels. I find it good value but if you are pretty new I would first consider going through (a selection of) existing vids that max has published already. After that you could dive deeper into the information Max offers to Patreons. I also set up a Kucoin account which offers way more options compared to a traditional wallet like staking, lending and a pretty interesting selection of bots. Bottom line: it all takes time to understand. Do not try to chase the hottest coins all the time but try to build a crypto portfolio step by step with a reasonable risk-reward balance. If you plan to hodl certain coins anyway I would stake or lend them. Best of luck, T.

Can I use the bot for a small amount of money $500-1000?
Are there any bots with prediction capabilities? Something like using a chart to determine when the best time is to buy a current dip or when to not sell based on volatility of the market at the time? The current grid bots buy in increments. Is there anything smarter that can say '' this is starting to shoot up, i should stop selling and only buy until this price point'', type of thing?
I don't believe so, but there are platforms online showing if there is a strong buy or sell pressure for each token. It looks like even AI does not have predicting capabilities. I guess we still have to rely on charting tools 👀

Yes however the kucoin strategy was a bit riskier because there were several tiny coins. Both are viable though!

Question for you. I am extremely new to the crypto space so please bare with me. I live in Canada. I currently have an NDAX account that allows me to transfer funds from my bank in CAD. I have the ability to buy USDT. Am I able to skip the transfer of those USDT to a Binance? Can I just do a straight transfer after its converted into the Pionex wallet? @@MaxMaher Thank you for your quick response! I will need to go through Binance then which is ok. There are plenty of tutorial's on how to transfer fiat and your link is helpful as well. To deposit fiat on Binance I see the the video on how to buy crypto with credit/debit card on the FAQ's. Its just odd that in comments on youtube on similar tutorials it is said that function is not available anymore and you need to go through P2P. Are you able to give any clarity on this?
