NGL, TIMI is Overhated AF. Their monetisation isn't even THAT bad. Every key thing that makes Call of Duty Mobile, Pokémon Unite, Honor of Kings, and Arena of Valor good are all present and not locked behind any form of paywall. Their monetisation is mainly through cosmetic items (skins and anything related to visuals) I highly doubt it'll be gacha cuz like even if it is and they make us pull characters, what in the actual fk are we even getting outside of the look of those characters? It's not like MH series is an RPG that has magical skills like the way Genshin does. What? They gonna lock hunter arts behind gacha? Or they gonna lock armor/weapon skills behind gacha? Doubt it. What's the point of killing monsters if you can just pay to get full sets then? If this ever comes as a gacha, I'm betting it's still gonna be purely for cosmetics. Though I completely agree with you, people will still find reasons to be mad. The most obvious monetization here cosmetically is armor sets and weapons. And you will likely spend/gacha for them. And people WILL complain because they cant grind and carve for their favorite armor sets. I hope Outlanders can succeed, but most players from console/pc monhun will not stop having a hate boner towards mobile games.
Thank you for being positive about this game, I'm already a gacha player so I don't really care about the monetization as long it's not shitfaced like Japanese gacha games(really, hoyoverse already has one of the better pity systems out there). I already spent money in a few gacha games and I will spend more here cus I love monster hunter.
Really gonna need developers to let go of "open world" as the go to feature to sell games. Often open word ends up meaning lots of empty space creating artificial gameplay time as you try to traverse said spaces or scour them looking for potential resources.
Right? Mobile games open world often just for us to find chest just to get premium currency and it's really boring compared to PC open world like elden rings or god of war where we could find something really rare like weapon or armor that we could use. In the end it's a mobile game, they need to earn some bucks somehow

Super glad that these games are releasing soon because Rise is the first Monster Hunter game that I *fully completed*
If everything regarding transactions in this game is good, I wanna talk about the open world aspect or how the game pans out. Can we immediately fight high rank monster in HR1 if the monster that appears are random in ranks? If we can fight a monster higher than our HR rank, can we get full reward or will we get partial rewards? Will we be able to craft HR armor or better armor in general and skipped our HR rank or will it be locked behind key quests and/or HR ranks? Regarding collecting resources, will it refreshes daily, every 2 days, or 3 days? How long until it respawns? If we cleared everything and go into a quest and somehow we need to find stuff to craft (whetstones, pickaxes) will we be stuck or will it be refreshed every interval set of time (15 or 30minutes per hunt) Can we use more than 1 weapon? Will there be an option to change weapon/equipment while in a hunt/outside of a village/base? Will there be small encampment to be able to do this? How's storage work in thid open world settings? Will it be abysmal storage space like Genshin or pay to increase size like MH Now?
I wonder if it’s gonna be that you gain access to the hunter through micro transaction along with that weapon in whichever class you want. But killing the monsters and gathering resources are how you level them up/ enhance the weapon.
I'm already imagining the Genshin spin to it: - Gacha 5* Weapons and Armor sets (the Monsters will be the Banners theme, one for swordsman one for gunner) - Can get 4* Weapons and Armor sets from both banners and in game - Gameplay is base Monster Hunter, no flashy mechanics until events - Transmog is available with a very limited resource but attainable in game on a boss event limited for once a week - Theme Monster spawns only during his banner then rotates out ... I might actually play it even then ngl 😂 it would get boring relatively fast but since it's free why not? Coop would just be you getting into other people's islands or joining monster hunts.

This sort of tiresome. I dunno why you guys are just cranking out tons of videos every day on the smallest bits of info that are released. At this point, I'm tired of seeing your channel pop up in my feed. I just took a look and you guys have 6300 videos. Thats literally a video every day for over 17 years. You guys just put out like 20 minutes of video for a 60 second trailer and some light comments about a damn mobile game. Its ridiculous. Yall need to work on pacing because youre milking sand at this point.
There’s a lot to unpack here, and I think you’re misunderstanding some things. Our content so far has included an 8-minute breakdown of the trailer, followed by another 8-minute video covering all the new information released on the official website and through press releases that wasn’t available when the trailer dropped. This content is for people who want a deeper dive and to stay fully informed about the games we cover. If you’re not interested in this particular topic, like a mobile game, you’re not obligated to watch. Yes, the trailer may only be 60 seconds, but we’re adding value by providing more detailed information and context. What makes this especially surprising is that we’re one of the creators in this space actively working not to waste viewers' time, unlike others who regularly post 20+ minutes of fluff. If you’re genuinely concerned about your time, it’s puzzling why you’d spend even more of it commenting on content you’re not interested in.
@ArekkzGaming No I'm not really misunderstanding. At least I dont believe I am. I also said 20 minutes of video and you "correct" me by saying you've put out two 8 minute videos. Thats a little pedantic on your part no? But moving on. How can you possibly provide detailed information/context/value on a 60 second teaser trailer? There is nothing there to provide context on. Hence my comment about milking sand. A majority of commentary basically boils down to "we'll see when they release more information" I originally commented because Ive seen like 30 videos (Dunno if its actually 30, its alot) from you guys across my feed in the last 2 to 3 weeks. I feel like a lot of stuff that I actually clicked on could be better served in a shorts format or a weekly roundup type of format. I like your content when you guys actually have stuff of substance to talk about. The weapon change videos for example were great. Trailer reactions, good stuff. Impressions videos? Yes. That time during SGF when you guys pulled together all of the japanese info into one video. Good shit. I want to see content with substance. Because right now it seems like youre just throwing handfuls of darts at the board in order to get something to stick. Normally id just block the channel like i did with rurikhan and a few other MH creators and keep it moving. I like your content and I normally just click on any video you guys post but a lot of the stuff lately is like covering minutia or like throwaway info. Which is why I took the time to comment.
Let me clarify a few things, as it seems there’s a bit of a disconnect here. First, it sounds like the issue might be more about the amount of Monster Hunter content filling your feed than with our specific videos. UA-cam’s algorithm tends to serve similar content once it picks up on your interests, which is something we can't control directly. If you’re seeing too much from multiple creators, adjusting your feed settings might help curate your experience better. After all, if you've already blocked other creators, it seems like this is more about the content you’re being shown rather than our approach specifically. Now, on the substance of our videos: each piece of content we release is specifically designed to provide relevant, up-to-date information. When we create an 8-minute breakdown or follow up with another video covering new information, it’s not filler; it's valuable details that many fans genuinely want. For example, in the recent video, we didn't just echo the trailer. We included a first look at armor sets, hints about monsters, gameplay mechanics, platform confirmations, and more. These are things that may seem minor to a casual viewer, but for Monster Hunter fans, they’re crucial. When you mention content that could be better suited to a “shorts” format, we’ve tried similar formats before, and they didn’t resonate as well with our core audience. Our viewers prefer in-depth breakdowns that allow them to fully immerse in the details, rather than a quick roundup that lacks depth. We’ve found that the larger Monster Hunter community engages more with comprehensive videos, so we’ve structured our content accordingly. In the end, we could absolutely make superficial content and stretch things out, but our aim is to create meaningful, information-packed videos for those who care about staying fully informed. We genuinely appreciate your feedback and your interest, as it helps us refine our approach for our audience.
Looking forward to emulating this on my PC. 😂

A majority of commentary basically boils down to "we'll see when they release more information"
I originally commented because Ive seen like 30 videos (Dunno if its actually 30, its alot) from you guys across my feed in the last 2 to 3 weeks.
