Nice video, although I mainly just wanted to know how large the cargo was, before doing the trip(s).
Exactly lmao
Not trying to be rude whatsoever, but you can see all slots are filled from the video. 4 each
He was stating what he came for. Same as me. Just wanted to see how it fit on the trailer
Same
+1
Nice choice of music for this video.
The first time I attempted Cargo From the Ship, I thought I was very clever - avoiding using the Twinsteer having tipped over several times in Island Lake. I used the new found P16 & failed miserably.
The 2nd time, I used the best muscle money can buy - Azov 73210. I even brought along a DAN with a heavy crane just in case.
The 73210 did the job without having any problems. Yea, it requires level 20, & has that low, long nose. But it gets the jobs done.
Then after the dust has settled, I found myself asking this question - which nut would drive a large cargo ship into Drummond Island?!
No wait, why does Drummond have a port in the first place?! It's a disaster waiting to happen.
I grabbed the cargo with the Twinsteer, it was OK, but some of the turns are a bit too tight and you gotta winch the backend around. Azov probably better.
i actually enjoyed this video...glad you kept the mistakes in, feels good to know , im not the only one. i just started this mission and going to try with the voron and the dan. alot of videos omit thier mistakes and make it look easy. thank you
Been using the white western star and no doubt its my favorite truck right now, Did this mission with ease
Just be patient my friend, and be that one of the real life truck driver, that’s how you play this game. I’ve been through a lot in this game, the hardest part by far was the delivery of oversized cargo in quarry, taymyr region.
Fully agree. This game is actually all about patience and I personally can't stand making mediocre mistakes so I enjoy making every mission as realistic as possible. It just feels good!
Indeed, and as well as in Wisconsin region where most cargoes are finitely produced, but certainly you have options to do framing. The best part is when you have a bit more patience, you need craft some of the cargoes and deliver them to another map, travelling through even more challenging path.
@@muhammadlufti2967 Just imagine the sequel with the new graphics, hopefully some traffic like other trucks working and different animals to see and maybe more characters to carry for company or be able to create. Just some ideas. I truly love this game.
Yeah, Hopefully with new graphic engine and better visual quality, but I doubt the developer will add NPCs or wildlife animal. Nonetheless, we all do hope there will be more activities coming up the next season 4.
That is bullsh*t. Game works nothing like real life offroad trucking. Physics in this game is completely off. In fact you will need to unlearn your real-life trucking knowledge to be good in this game.
Anyone new to this game, there's a short cut at 3:10 to the left, just past those boulders, that completely avoids the puddle and potential tip over at 3:17.
I finished this today (P16 w/ superheavy trailer, the one with 8 cargo slots). I only had to put the cargo back twice and besides the starting area this was relatively smooth sailing. Trouble began, when I deemed the unsupported 180 degree turn on the mountain road too risky and thought it easier to take the "shortcut" (the almost vertical drop to the right, which leads to the bog). It's not much fun to force-winch-wiggle the trailer about 15 minutes to make the front supports dig through the mud, while the whole truck is suspended above the slope and no wheels can help. As soon as the tipping point was reached, the journey downhill was ok and without cargo loss. The exit above the quarry unfortunately has similar strut-issues (just uphill instead of downhill). In total this took about 3 hours to get done and had a crane support as well as a Caterpillar for some winching. One trip though. In retrospect - using two trailers and winching them, or even better probably - winching the TwinSteer would have been the safer route to go.
Nice! I also used the 8 slot trailer, but with the Derry Longhorn, and I took the mountain road. I got stuck on the 180 and had to use the Voron-D with heavy crane to just slightly edge the backend out and I was able to pull it around. Otherwise smooth sailing.
Man, I do appreciate the hard work you did getting to this cargo. That's quite a lot of work you had to do for this task. Well done!
I used the derry longhorn 3194 and made two trips. it worked well and got the job done I'm really liking this truck after the update and would recommend.
Did they improve it? People have said that it's not very good for various reasons.
hell yeah the derry longhorn is great
I did this with everything you used on one tank of gas only difference was i used two 4 slot ramped trailers instead of one 😂 cause those dolly wheels come in clutch when doing sharp turns but there very tippy lol but luckily i didn't tip 😂 so it was all good thanks
Nice work!
I did it with the Western Star 6900 TwinSteer too. As a support I had a White Western Star 4964 with me. With telescopic crane PC-320 body and maintenance trailer. Since the Western Star 6900 TwinSteer with the container on it tipped over three times, it took a while. In addition, I had to drive a second time for the second container. I never had the idea of using a low-loader ramp trailer connected by winch. Cool video, thumbs up.
12:30 looks like this isn't first time you've attempted this, looks like you took a spill into that ravine, lol
Yep, one an earlier attempt I made it all the way to that bridge. That sucked!
lol dude you had a hell of a time! there's a trailer that has 8 slots, it's the Superheavy Semi-trailer. I think i'll use the tayga to get them from the water and load them onto the superheavy trailer. thanks for the video.
I recently started playing this game again A LOT and was excited to have this as my last official job in Michigan and i had to walk away for a couple days. I went to the ship with a few different trucks and a few different trailers and i still havent completed it but now with this video i feel like I'll at least make it back to the gate. I ALWAYS flipped the truck or the trailer within minutes of picking up the cargo and it was so frustrating.
I'm just now starting this Mission and I had to look up a video on it and I already hate the f****** area they have you go in to pick up the oversized cargo it's too small and it's hard to turn around as I can see from this video
What is realy needed is a trailing attacment on some trailers to be able to create road trains. Another, tonge in cheek add on would be a liquid gas container and header to freeze the mud and possibly a two part explosive mixer and drill to split some of the boulders. That would make things too easy?
Those should be unlockable items in Imandra
I winched the trailer from the back & dragged it in there to make it easier to leave
Am playing immandra, its so hard,,love ur videos carry on👌 best regards from switzerland
It will get easier! Thank you for the visit!
Thank you, thank you for the 5x speed playback! Great job overall.
I did the first run with a Twinsteer, the damn thing kept trying to tip over on the way back, lots of emergency winching to stop it and take some of the curves. When I finally succeeded (it took ages) I got stuck on the road back at the dam, the really tight rocky corner and had to pull it with another truck. Delivered the cargo and .... I didnt realise you have to do it twice. I'll do the second one some other time. This was worse than the Cleetus mission, driving a crane down a mountain trail.
BTW, you can pull 2 trailers at once right to the teleport point with no need to unwinch - the trailer & winched trailer will port safely to a new location!
I ended up winching a Voron-D with a heavy crane to a Twinsteer and driving it to near the site. I also drove a Derry Longhorn with a superheavy semi-trailer (8 slots), but I only took that to Drummond but not all the way to the site (obviously). Then I used the Twinsteer to get the cargo containers and I used the Voron-D to load them onto the trailer. Then I drove the Derry/Trailer back to warehouse. It was a real doozy.
I've tried twice already.... Thanks for the video! Haha I failed miserably
As I was coming back from Island Lake, I only had my Azov 64131 with a low saddle sideboard semi, and my 2070A with the crane and standard two slot bed. I loaded one on the 64131's trailer, unpacked it, craned it to the 2070A (half on half off) and dropped the crane down on it to hold it in place. Flipped twice with the 2070A and had to reload the container, but I made it from there to the trailer store right after the tunnel in Smithville Dam and said "F**k it" and bought a ramped flatbed to load it onto (I have a pic on my desktop from just before the trailer store).
I used 2 trucks Tayga+Semitrailer and Cat681+Semitrailer ,almost done in 20 minutes .
Both trucks were winched each other and when comes sharp turns unwinched them and go solo . Not once flip over and 2-3 times have to winched to a attach points.
Yeah stumbled across the trick of winching the truck versus the cargo is so much better. Because the cargo is secured to the "truck" versus winching and it being unpacked. Obviously just need a truck powerful enough to do it.
Did it with the western white star. It's a very good truck
Great video, thanks 😊
Thanks for watching!
The tipping is so reminiscent of how I haul. I fall over so many times, it's part of my game. Grateful to see a "real life" video of warts and all. Thanks.
Did this last night with the P16 and the x5 wide gooseneck trailer. Other than the time it took going back and forth I didn't have any issues.
Great video. I used the navistar for that job.
Jesus christ.....im starting to feel some of these missions are just to torture us man.
I think these were meant as relief from Imandra....
@@TruScoreGaming I'm still in Michigan & I feel the resources provided to us in the form of trucks is not up to par. The trucks are too weak compared to some of the missions. I've only managed to get 1 container so far & my wws was stuck right at the start & container fell off. I finally pulled some tricks to reverse back in with help of hummer h2 & reload with another container....but the mission has jus pissed me off now. Don't even ask about crane...the goddamn p12 crane tipped over right when I reached the wws....after driving all the way from Smithville man. So I canceled crane idea & pulled some H2 tricks.
@@ongbak190 I would advise to move onto the Taymyr Region next and then come back to these. Consider these "end game" contracts that did not come with the base game, there are some higher end trucks other areas that can handle the job without as much effort.
I attempted this with the Twinsteer... very, very large mistake lmao. I couldn't even get past the first turn outside of the cargo square before it fell over 😅
Great vid tho and ill definitely be using the sideboard saddle low trailer on my next go at it. Cheers homii
Same lmao the twinsteer seems really good but until u get AWD it really lacks going up hills and without the angle u can have with a trailer it is an advantage and a disadvantage. And in that first turn it seems impossible to get past that one turn without tipping and really hard to even get up it without the AWD 😕
Yeah I had to call my Zik to come rescue my Twinsteer but then it got stuck on a tree and it was over.
Even if the trailers are tethered, it should still make the whole transfer without separating them out
Twinsteer while winching a ramped flatbed worked for me :)
Me to and tuz 16 for support
AWD??
klassic kingz yep
@@dannyazzo98 is it OP with the awd?
klassic kingz Its pretty good but not OP no
I wonder if there is a truck you can have the large crane and tow? I will probably pull it with the Zik and Western Star, with the 963 as the crane because other than a tree nothing will stop the Zik.
I used the Western star 4964, and fleetstar as backup crane vehicle
Awesome run
The ANK MK38 for the win! No crane vehicle was needed. Easy peezy but slow going as with any other.
thx good tip,im new at this game,i used the ank mk38 civilian, and as backup crane plus fuel rig,the azov 73210,grtz
I always use the Goliath truck it's a Mod but pretty powerful
I did it with International Transtar 4070A with Royal BM17(fuel) and Fleetstar F2070A(heavy crane) as backup. Flipped it twice in both puddles on first trip and completed 2nd one perfectly, needing only tow from Royal through 2nd puddle near main road.
Came to check this video out, since i thought, for some reason, the cargo in question was the two red containers that have spilled off the abandoned ship. The re were several times where I nearly rolled my Pacific P12 with a heavy crane on it, only to find that i didnt need to lift anything.
After that, I tried to get the 20-wheel Titanium (a very slow, but very useful mod truck) to the pickup point, and it turned out to be too big.
What I think I'm about to do is take the Twin Steer in along with some other truck, with a crane pulling a flatbed trailer. Use the twin steer to get the first container to the paved road, crane it over to the trailer, then go back for the second container, then winch the crane behind the twin steer after i get back with the second container.
I went for those red containers too. I left my trailer on the road nearby to scout the trail to the loading spot, and when I got there, there wasn't a prompt to access cargo management, so I began looking around. I guess without a trailer or bed, the prompt doesn't appear. No clue how I'm going to do this and I probably shouldn't even consider it right now when there are plenty of other things to do in this region still, but here I am.
I have the Twinsteer but haven't used it. IIRC the upgrades are in different regions and I've only played Michigan. P16 handles basically everything except for narrow spaces. Maybe the WWS would work.
@@ClassicalPan well, since my initial comment, I tried the twin steer, and it was godawful. That thing is way too long to maneuver through the rocks. I rolled a good 4 or 5 times, and had to pick it up with the P12 and heavy crane combo.
I honestly think a decent plan is having a trailer to load the container onto in place, then unloading (but not deleting) it and using a crane to just drag it out might be the easiest.
@@musewolfman Interesting idea. And I haven't tried the Twinsteer, but I saw people saying it's really tippy. I delivered 1 container so far. I did it normally with the WWS and the ramped flatbed trailer. The cargo falls off the trailer a few times during the initial escape, but having the yellow crane attached made it a non issue. Once I got to the main road I handed the trailer off to the P12 that I had on standby since my WWS was low on fuel. I'll likely do the same thing next time too since it worked before.
Don't forget the mission will tell you if you need a crane.
Nice vid. I did this with Twinsteer with chains on all tires and support vehicle with repair and fuel capacity.
Nice work! I originally tried with the Twinsteer, I winched along a trailer but found that there was no way to pack the cargo. I couldn't load into Smithville Dam with the trailer because the cargo was unpacked.
Chains? Those only help on iced roads like Alaska has. They have zero benefit on anything else and actually perform worse in mud and dirt.
4:50 😂😂😂
Also at 3:17 you could have avoided that flip over by going on the grass to the right LOL😆
I haven't done that contract yet but great video 👍
I’m here to figure what truck you used lol I used the twinsteer it sucked so will try truck w trailer
6:49 holy butt clinching moment.
Good hid man. Thanks
Tayga is The King in this game. 👍👍👍
Okay so my question is can you use the twin steer Western Star and just make two trips it has a cargo capacity of four slots I'm pretty sure each oversized cargo would be four. feedback appreciated
02:37 If you can squeeze through this part.
@@TruScoreGaming thanks I'll try it
I did the first cargo run with the Twinsteer without any tipping or losing the cargo. I'll make the second run tomorrow but needed a break after the first one. lol
I did this with Fleetstar (with some Alaska upgrades) and a flatbed trailer. Doable but cant recommend. Do it with the semi like in this video. But using Tayga makes it easier, I recommend playing maps more in order. At least the base game.
Lol, I put both of them sideways on the sideboard of the Iceberg, snaked it through to the main road where I had an 8 slot waiting.
Holy shit 😅 i just got it 1st try like this without losing cargo. Thanks for the tip. Edit: Still glad I brought the crane tho just in case
Nice!
I'm using the P16 and the big float trailer, 3 hrs into it and I've got 1 container half way out...
Try a smaller truck with a smaller trailer
I don't know if they have changed fuel levels or this is a mod, but the Tayga doesn't have that much fuel in it now. I am using your method but I have to bring a fuel truck with me.
Thanks, I was just curious how big the cargo was. I'll be using the KRS Bandit, or the Navistar 5000 for this.
For anyone else wondering about cargo sizes go to reddit or Google and search "snowrrunner cargo sizes" they have full lists with every single cargo in the game and their size
I just completed this job, using your techniques.
I used the Derry Longhorn 4520, and didn't tip over at all.
What truck are you using
Tayga 6436
what truck did u use? nice job by the way!
Tayga 6436 for the hauling and AZOV 64131 for the crane (rescue)
This is the first mission that's actually making me consider to quit this game the roads so bad it's tripped my trucks 4 times
I try this mission every month since the release, perhaps next month will be the one
4.49 LOL!
I flipped in a horrible spot and had to restart. Had to delete the trailer and everything, couldn’t even save it with a crane.
What truck are you using in this vid?
Tayga 6436
Its awful when engine stalled at the right time
If you’re on console, you can’t winch between areas. The trailer will glitch into your truck
10:49 I winched the trailer to the front of my truck and zoned in ok, so that may be one way to get around that
@@TruScoreGaming oh good point, I’ll give it a go tonight and report back 👌🏼
Playing this mission in the hard mode is super super super diffucult.
Where do you get that tiger skin on the tayga?
Part of the season pass or DLC
The amount of times I’ve attempted this mission is stupid, honestly, is there no alternate routes?
No, the best advice I can give you is to get as far as you can and use a crane for support. Don't remove cargo if it tips, bring the crane in and keep making progress towards the gateway.
Anyone else have problems going through tunnels with multiple vehicles? Example , I tried this and when I came into the next map I had the ramped trailer inside of my tayga 6431. So had to restart and do it all over again. Seems to be a common problem , which is why I dont do it.( Xbox one )
Do you mean inside or just ghosted together, Happens on computer too but you can just start your truck and drive away once they are separated everything is normal.
It is ghosted because they are taking up the same space, drive one vehicle a distance away and you should be fine, then back up and winch the second vehicle.
Who flips a truck like that
4:45 hahaha so stupid XD GAS u become frome the other truck btw
Make this shit look too easy. Couldn’t even do it with the ank civilian
Whats name of truck you drive
Tayga 6436
How nasty are you?
I did this mission with the white western star, no awd, and rear diff only..........
Oh that's nasty...
This mission is stupid. I mean, almost every other is difficult, but manageable in a normal manner. Sometimes there's a shortcut, sometimes you have to winch a few times. But this one is just badly planned - depends on luck, not on skill. Fortunately, it's a last mission and you don't have to finish it.
I HATE This Mission! Rode Rage! Aggggggh! Royal BM17 gets stuck every time. Will try the Navistar 5000. Guess I'll buy a dang heavy crane also...
what map is this
You have to bring the cargo from Drummond Island over to Smithville Dam
thanks@@TruScoreGaming
Let’s put the biggest cargo in the tightest spot with no other access... yep makes complete sense. I couldn’t even get the trailer past the first turn as it just scraped rocks and got stuck. Tried to winch and it flipped the truck. I brought a crane and I lifted the truck and lifted the cargo back onto the trailer and tried again, same exact thing happens. Tried to lift trailer with crane... nope, no winch spot for crane so tried to pull it with normal winch and my truck acts like its tires can’t turn and the trailer just slides into the truck pushing me off the edge. Immediately turned off the game due to the nonsense. Why I can lift a truck with a crane and not the trailer makes no fucking sense. Only logical way to do it is use the crane to lift cargo and drive that shady road with it flailing around like a panzy on a flag pole hanging by their whitey tighteys
I hate this mission so much
In true typical SnowRunner fashion, garbage gear for a garbage mission.
God, this task was literal cancer.
8x cargo😑
Thanks for some reason it wouldn’t even show me where the oversize cargo was at so I had to watch this to even know where to pick it up
