Wordpress website fake user sign ups/spam bots using wordpress plugins | wordfence security plugin

recently I have been receiving emails of my WordPress website fake signups and/or spam bots. on checking the same unknown person signing up has the same IP address with a username which is the same differing only with some random numbers.
I looked up for a solutions and luckily I got one which involves use of WordPress plugins like advanced google recapthca plugin and wordfence security plugin. tried google Recaptcha but it failed but wordfence worked very well.

the way to fix it is to go into ultimate member settings, you have them verify the emails and you decide who is a user on our site or not
