    I've been vegan since 2019 and I have always loved watching vegan fitness channels with tips and recipes I'll never use... but then I found yours! Your tips are so simple and common sense that I've been able to start implementing them immediately.
    I'm actually hopeful now.
    I've been struggling to dial in my health the last few years. Lack of sleep, constant neck and nerve pain, brain fog, anxiety, depression, and loss of motivation have been driving me mad.
    I know I need to go to bed earlier and wake up earlier. I know I need to cook at home more. I know I need to exercise more often. The irony is- I love doing these things! Sleep is the best thing in the universe and I love the peace of early mornings. I enjoy cooking and I've been known to go "hard in the paint" at the gym.
    So why don't I do these things?
    I must be lazy.
    But now I have hope that I can still find the energy to change.
    I just need to stop pushing the boulder uphill.
    Dumping a bag of frozen veggies on a tray is easy! Tossing tofu in the air fryer is easy! Microwaved potatoes? Yes, please! I even have the Ninja Creami and you've inspired me to start using it again. I trick myself into getting up in the morning to work out by saying, "If I get up now, and get ready as fast as possible like I am running late, and I am still tired after I am ready for the day, I can take a nap." So far, no nap. 😊
    It's only been a few days and my silly brain is already anxious to see the results I know will take months. This video has inspired me to implement another change: reward the journey. I will try to find a way to reward my good habits so I stop trying to hold my breath until I lose 20 pounds.
    Thank you for making health content that is the most simple, sustainable, and approachable I've ever seen.
    Best wishes for your continued success! ✌️

    On holidays I found a pizza place that sold pizza potatoes... it was a layer of sliced cooked potatoes with pizza sauce on top and extra toppings of your own choice eg mushrooms, capsicum etc.

    Hi Chelse! I've been following your breakfast and lunch diet for a while now, but the one thing I still struggle with is which exercises are best for weight loss, so I was hoping you could do a video on that with maybe a gym routine that has helped you lose weight. Thanks! ❤

    I have to work on meal prep. When i am hungry, I need to eat right away. That is my biggest struggle. When I do this, weight falls off of me.
    I also find that during my period, I am more likely to give up.

    I am consistent when i am home and in my set up environment. At the moment I am learning to stick to it when my boyfriend is home, always just a few weeks, then gone again for sometimes a few months. I got him to like my component bowls and for the first time he said he is looking forward to them when he is home

    What kind of potatoes do you suggest? Gold/Yellow? Russet? Small red? Purple? Sweet potatoes? Etc. Do you also eat the skins? And if you use an air fryer, what do you set it on for the perfect cook time? Great video! Very helpful tips

    What do you do to “treat” yourself ? Like if you’ve been stuck in the house with the kids all week and you get a moment to get outside of the house for an hour just to get a moments break. My go to is to get a sweet baked good and a latte and enjoy reading a book I like in a coffee shop. I’ve been trying to just enjoy a black coffee but it is getting harder and harder to do. I think I need to do something that doesn’t revolve around food or drink but I also don’t enjoy shopping . I go on walks daily, so don’t really just want to walk again. I just don’t know where to go to spend an hour by myself that doesn’t involve food or shopping or a park .

      Just do it anyway. Don’t let your brain use it as an excuse. No one! Around me ears like me….i do it regardless, like a soldier.“normal“ people can’t live on an island like many of those plant people preach …..also locking food up is soooo crazy.pleease don’t fall for that u can do it regardless.its so selfish to expect people around you to bend to your recent diet, imagine they would expect it from you. Hope it helps

    I get hung up on some things, so perhaps you can clarify. First you say, don't eat nuts (high calorie), then you say "don't eat oil, but eat nuts and seeds instead". So which is it, nuts or no nuts?
    Then, a pound of wholeweat grains is 500 cals, but if I run those through my mockmill, add water and yeast and bake it, it suddenly becomes 1400 cals by calling it bread? How does that work?

    • @fishmut
      @fishmut 21 годину тому

      You said you eat all the time and gain weigh , no surprise there , stop eating all the time and control how much your eating , not everyone can just eat as much as they like and also WHAT food are you eating ? Cut out oils and fats you don’t need it if your carrying fat on your body , portion control of things if you eat meat etc , use your hand to guid you for portion size , meat is the size of the palm of your hand , veggies 2 fist sizes that’s it per meal , if you gaining weight you need to identify what it is your doing .

      I hate what I’m going to say but it worked for me and I am terrible at doing something I don’t like but….. Perseverance and restraint. I used to be the same as what you have written. I got to a point where I just forced myself to eat these foods that I didn’t like because I knew they were good for my body and keep the processed stuff out of the house. This way my tastebuds changed and after a few months I actually liked the stuff I hated. The number 1 thing being blueberries and radish, used to hate both, radish used to make me urge, now I eat both daily and enjoy them. After a couple months I had a chocolate cake and it was nowhere near as good as it used to taste. And I used to eat that cake a couple times a week before

      @@st50156use garlic and soy sauce on your veggies. You can also roast/brown them for extra flavor. Sweet potatoes (with orange flesh) are delicious just baked, with cinnamon on top. Veggies with potatoes or rice? It’s delicious and makes you feel much better than junk food.

      It all depends how you season and cook it.

    • @floraly88
      @floraly88 4 години тому

      Thanks guys. All of these tips I heard before and tried to make them work, but not success as of yet. I can drench broc in a savory garlic soy sauce, and it still grosses me out. I can season veggies to the point of being too much and they still dont have the bite and complex aroma of cooked meats... For the sake of health, I will just keep of forcing it down and try to go more and more plant base still.

      Drink black coffee , remove the sugar and milk , eat breakfast , lunch and dinner and try discipline yourself from snacking , eat whole foods ie veggies and meat if you still eat meat portion control that to the palm size of your hand , if your carrying fat then you don’t need to be eating it or have the smallest amount if you really think you need it , don’t drink liquids other than water cut out calorie drinks ie soda or soft drinks , identity what your doing and change it you will get results oh and weigh your self regularly so you know what’s working ,
