Long time viewer, first time commenter. I just wanted to say I absolutely love the videos. I’m an avid hunter of rabbit and grey squirrels here in the United States, though I usually use a .22 long rifle on my hunts. These videos have actually taught me a lot about the abilities of Air Guns that I didn’t know were possible. When I was a kid coming up all we had were those cheap break action ones that were only good for target shooting and not much else. Air guns have certainly come a long way.
I am absolutely amazed that Crosman does not produce a 16.3 grain option, both in domed and hollow point. Why they jumped to 19 grains is beyond me. Great video, thanks for this one!
The NV007 is a great option for many. I’ve seen so many dedicated IR scopes (proper IR and not illuminated reticle 😂) up for sale over the past year. So much a case of boys and shiny new toys. Great video as always, Mat 👍
I am always happy to give rabbits to landowners who want them but most of them don't. My family eats a lot of wild meat and we pass on any we have spare to friends. Thanks for watching. Mat
Excellent shooting Mat. I was considering buying the new pard but have seen some iffy reviews, especially regarding the lrf, did you find it was accurate ?
Mat I believe the Pard has a built in magnification of 4x. I typically use 10X on my scopes. will the 4x combine with the 10X to make a crazy zoom? did you have to zoom DOWN on your scope?
No. You just need the landowner's permission, ideally in writing. Insurance is a good idea too. Insurance is included in BASC membership. Other airgun insurance services are available. It's also worth taking the time to read through BASC's guidance on General License conditions for shooting birds, along with other recognised airgun quarry species.

Another excellent video Matt with a good balance of out in the field shooting and an informative pellet test. It’s a great format, thanks 👍
Thanks Nick. Glad you liked it.
All the best. Mat
Really enjoyable watching you mate
Thanks Dave.
All the best. Mat
Been awhile since I watched this but seems love there’s new people hosting now
I moved to another channel for a while but have been hosting The Airgun Show since it was launched in 2014.
Thanks for watching. Mat
It’s interesting that a quick search shows that lead is about back to the price it was pre covid yet the prices of pellets are still climbing. 🤔
Great video, Mat. I always enjoy the night hunting sessions.
Thank you. Out filming again tomorrow - plenty more to come.

Thank you. We have a few more pellet tests lined up.

Thanks very much. I think it's a great piece of kit - decent image quality and easy to use.

Great work.
Thanks for watching.

Better than tonights emmerdale cheers mat
That's great to know.
Thanks for watching, and for the positive feedback. Mat
Do you give the rabbits to the farmers that own the field or do you split the difference as it’s great dinner

Thanks. I found it perfectly accurate - it certainly seemed to be bang on for this outing.
All the best. Mat
What a clean shaven , cheeky goody goody 🧐
Great video mate
Get your guns on a sling works a lot smoother
Would of been good to see where the hollow points impacted at 40 mtrs
We have more pellet tests coming and will try to incorporate impact/penetration tests.
Thanks for watching. Mat

Just use the magnification on your scope.
@@reservedone1791 that doesn’t answer my question.
No, you won't get 40x magnification, or 96x if you were using a 6-24x. Does that answer?@@marcdeo9820
Two different models available 16mm is 4x and there is a 12mm model that is 1x.
My son has bagged a few rabbits lately and we’ve noticed they’ve been covered in fleas
That is not unusual. Hang the rabbits to cool in a shed or garage and they should drop off.
Thanks for watching. Mat
Which version illuminator is on your Pard, 850 or 940?
I believe it is the 850.
Thanks for watching. Mat
crosmans are good affordable pellets.
They certainly gave a good account of themselves in my test.
Thanks for watching. Mat
Just a question.... I'm looking into getting an air rifle for pest patrol and gaming and do I need a license of any sort???
No. You just need the landowner's permission, ideally in writing. Insurance is a good idea too. Insurance is included in BASC membership. Other airgun insurance services are available. How much is the pard add on
Link to store in description.
How can a pellet be called an "ultra magnum" when it only weighs 14.3grns 🤔🤣
Same way a car can be called a Fiesta 🪅
😂
I did wonder about that myself...
Thanks for watching. Mat
No no no always hold them vertical when emptying bladder otherwise they will just pee over themselves 😂😂😂😂😂
Hi Simon.
Their hinds legs were hanging downwards - which I reckon makes them pretty upright.
Thanks for watching. Mat
There's always someone who thinks they know better. I'm willing to bet mat has peed out more rabbits that you've had hot dinners Simon.
I have never peed out a rabbit, can't imagine it would be too comfortable. The biggest I've ever peed was a marble, after a childhood accident
😂😂@@oliverhopkins8074

B'locks. Scott Country is a great store. First rate customer service and keen prices too.
