Went and saw last night. I rarely go to the movies anymore.....so glad i went! What a friggin awesome movie! Action packed, good laughs. A hell of a good flick!

Now the need to make a movie about Simo Häyhä “The White Death” now that would be a bad ass movie.
That "fuck you" in the end cracked me up.
When I watched it, I thought it was a bollywood movie from India. If the movie was made half an hour longer, he would have defeated the whole Nazi Germany alone. He had to jump on a submarine from the plane and pierce the body of the submarine with the knife in his hand.

Totally unique, original and excellent in many ways. My only complaint is that the tank they used was a Russion T55......I believe they weren't around until the mid 50's......not 1944. That was the T34

Finland was an alley with Germany, also there wasn't a scorched earth policy in Finland, pure fantasy, but it looks okay
We were enemies with Germany when Russia attacked us initially, later on we became allies against Russia since Germany turned against Russia, then we became enemies of Germany again since we had to drive them out of our country and they did burn the whole Lapland just so you know. Also this is B movie, so perhaps it is not for you if you don't like the genre because the whole genre is anything but realistic.
This is not a documentary. The word you are looking for is “ally,” but that’s not correct. Finland was invaded by the Soviets (the Winter War) and defended itself when Germany and the Soviet Union had a non-aggression pact. Then Germany decided to attack the Soviets through Finland, and the objectives of both countries became the same. The Finns could not fight the Soviets and the Germans. They sided with the Nazis to drive the Soviets out. Great Britain declared war on Finland, so there was no help coming from the Western Allies. The Germans did have a “scorched earth policy” in Lapland. You need to read more history.
