Hi Chris Abraham what about kamalhassan movies? his movies are one of a kind !! i am from tamil. but i watch mostly malayalam movies. script and also screenplay is awesome in malayalam. kingliar, my boss, drishyam, memories, 7th day, nandanam, su su sudheer vatmeegam, north 24, vettam, traffic, swapnakoodu, kasthurimaan, kali, takeoff, classmates, masters, robinhood, ayurrekha, vasthavaam, lakshyam. as prashanth says tamil directors must learn from mallu directors. esp screenwriters.
Dear Prasanth, This movie has vfx only in the climax that too for few seconds only. It doesn't have any other vfx involved shots. They bought 70 pigeons from nagercoil and was trained for an year by the director and the assistant directors alone. The kids lived along with the pigeons for 6 months and then only the shoot began. Parava is a masterpiece.

mostly malayalam film industry doesn't make fantasy is just because of the budget. they like to see fantasy movies from our own industry but just because of budget it was not possible these days, because kerala have less population and less audience compared to other industries so producers can't spend that much money. But with in 3 years you are gonna see plenty of fantasy and highbudget films from malayalam because malayalam film industry got an idea to make bilingual films means gonna make a single film in 3-5 languages so the producers can spend that much of money for that. so just wait the upcoming fantacy and high budget films from Kerala will not be masala like all other highbudget films in other industries instead those malayalam highbudgets will be class movies like Hollywood. In short term i can say that malayalam film industry is gonna dominate all other industries in future!

great work man now i know why you r so popular yes a great film to & especially in theatres if anyone is waiting for a pirated copy then its your fate.. you will miss a beautiful piece of indian cinema only one point i like to highlight at one place after that flashback sceen there is a bit of comedy that the director tried to convey but i thought that was too early everything else was superfine and the boy sitting with the lolipop and asking `veno chetta, hats off saubin bhai
He took 2 yrs to shoot the pegione scene its not vfx . He trained the pegione from 1yrs..(frm its birth). actually the pegione was acting..sir. he said in his interviews. Also the child actors are locals... thr debut
i watched this movie no one show this kind of screenplay...amazed and exited even we cant segregate the audio and video we can travel with the music when we r watching the movie....

in Malayalam movies script is the king. it wont bend to suit the image of the hero.
