The price jump between LTE engines and KZ engines on these Prados is like 3-4k USD. Shows you just how much people love the KZ.
KakerMix that’s because they’re such a better motor. I’ve had several surfs with both motors and one 1kz was auto and the other manual. The auto soaked up the long highway kms and loved sitting at 115/120 mph and the manual was great as well once I replaced the factory dual mass flywheel with an aftermarket solid flywheel.
KakerMix in saying that I have always had my ‘84 Hilux with the factory 2.4 diesel and aftermarket turbo and wouldn’t have it any other way
The 1KZ is also a "new" engine to the USA market so that helps push the price up too.
PacificCoastAuto and I would imagine more dependable and not as prone to head gasket problems LTs were prone to. It just doesn’t have to work as hard and does not overhead with North American driving/use.
Wow, nice clean example. I usually like the mid-90's LC with sliding rear window, but this vid may chamge my mind on it. thx again
Wow your sub count surprises me considering how good your content is! The camper videos are freakin' awesome!! Hope to see this channel blow up soon :) *Subbed and turned on notifications by the way.*
dieselly clatter + Land Cruiser = WINNING!
I had a car with taillights like that. The pale orangey one was a cheap aftermarket replacement that had faded in the sun.
Previous owner sure loves outdoor apparel
So what did the buyer end up purchasing this thing for!? I WANT ONE!
the car of my dream is exactly the machine I would like to have in my future I enjoyed watching the video os cool car to Moçambique
Superb reliable Prado! 💓
Oh how I wish I could find one here in MA😍😍😍
This is a bad ass truck it’s kinda GWagon-esk
An Absolute Unit! Is this exact car still available?
Landcruisers are my favourite vehicles
Are the automatic transmissions on these reliable?
I’ve been searching for almost a year and the good ones are around $15K USD. Do you sell to personnel stationed in Japan or is it just to import?
how old is the averege car in Japan?? - i see a 25 year old car like this but then i also see cars like the car i had in New Zealand (1997 Honda Civic Ferio imported to nz in 1999) that only spent 2 years or 11'000km in Japan - personally i think 11'000km before exporting your car is just ridiculous - but i dont know - perhaps it was sold because the owner died - the car had been in New Zealand for 20 years so i have no evidence from its past life in Japan except the NZTA records and the new Vin plate indicating it was a 2nd hand import (as 70% of cas in NZ are)
this is real off road vehicle. I have in mind to get one
Are those 33” tires?
Do the 2 door versions have a removable top like the round headlight version?
What are the suspension and tyre modifications on this
Derek, ☝️🎥👍👍👍👏👏👏😁Toyota land Cruiser 70 👍👍👍👍👍
What is the lowest km car you have seen, bought or found at an auction? on an older car?
I'm not sure. We do mostly older cars and have sold some that averages under 200 km per year over 25 years. It's pretty crazy.
I'm debating on buy a new Toyota truck or a JDM Toyota truck
Jdm. If you gonna buy a new car might as well get an electric vehicle. Older Yotas have soul. New Yota trucks are shit.
Hi
How much does it approx cost to get it in the USA?
What does something like this cost, imported to the US, average?
I see the vitz in the background :)
Looks like you've parked the bB and are daily driving the Vitz. Hmmm...just had a thought: swap the drive train from the Vitz to the bB!
To be honest, I had that same though but the turbo engine in the Vitz has a lot of extra parts that would be needed to make the swap. I would very much like to have it, but I also like to have $5000 in my bank account to spend on other things.
❤
you forgot ur headrest!!
tryna fix one of em
Knobby tires not knobbly.
Truck not car.
Land cruisers are some of the greatest cars ever made
