I totally dig it! The setting is just so lovely and it calms me so much. Also yeah, Mae-Lou is so precious and I feel I must protect her (and her 8 toes) at all cost 🤣💕
nice review as always cloudy! yeah i said this in miss bubbles review as well but i do plan on getting it , just not right away. i want a lot of those bugs to be fixed before i dive in and hopefully that happens sooner rather than later.
Thank you so much goku! I've seen your comment under Bubbles review, hehe~ But I appreciate it a lot that you're here to chat with me too 🥰 That's a very valid concern. I have heard of game breaking bugs that made you lose progress. That will most likely be fixed first though, so it's definitely a good thing to wait for a few weeks or months. 🤗
I love Cyberpunk 2077 and the whole cyberpunk aesthetic soooo much! I haven't got to play that much but my biggest complaint was the controls. I got used to them but it is just awkward to me. They are patching in rebinding controls soon fortunately. But my first few hours has been enjoyable and I love how much cooking takes a role in this game 🥰 I'm so looking forward to the updates too, I am already loving the characters and can't wait to get to know them better and socialize 😘 Also the Dev already has plenty of updates planned and has been patching out bugs constantly since release. I hope every lets them cook, so to speak 🤭 Thank you so much for the video Miki! I love how much love you have for this theme and game. Your gushing was perfect, I'm with you 100% on the feeling of this game and how much potential it already shows. I think after it gets more updates it will be 🧑🍳💋🤣 The video was 🧑🍳💋 too XDD
Yeah, the controls and default settings were a bit unusual and felt awkward to use, ngl. But it’s not a big deal since we’re getting an update for that! Yes, the characters are very different from those in other games. Some of them might be a little colder and grumpier than expected, but that just gives more room for character growth, haha. I was trying something a little different with this video, and I hope I can step out of my comfort zone bit by bit. Thank you for your feedback!!
I'm glad you covered this one! I've been following the developement process for a while but I am still not sure about it! 🥺 I think I will hold off for now and wait for new updates or the 1.0! 🤭 There's just so many games to play, I can barely keep up 🤣 I think I have said it before but I am also always wary about Early Access titles, mostly because I used to burn myself out and then never touched the game again after 1.0 😣 But I absolutely agree with you, I wish more cozy games had a Cyberpunk setting. Especially now that I got into Cyberpunk 2077 I am already craving more of these asthetics! 🤭 And technology, like cyberware and such, are just so fun to have in a game! Thank you for the video! 💕 The passion you have for these games is amazing, I'm always looking forward to hearing about your impressions! 🤗
I am so happy to hear all of our Cyberpunk stories going on right now! i'm also very, very happy you got it working and are sharing your journey. It's so fun to hear about it from your perspective since I have obsessed about it for so long 😆
@@dannyroth218 Awww, thank you!! ☺ I'm soo happy I got into it and I didn't even know that you and Cloudy have played it as well, that made me even more excited! I can't wait to play more and scream about it to you haha 🤣💕
I think that's the right call for you, especially since you said you easily burn out with Early Access versions. I'm sure the final version will be worth it!!🥰 I've been wanting to reply to you for a while, but I'm so devastated that your Cyberpunk game doesn't seem to run properly. I keep brainstorming solutions ): I'm still happy to know that you generally enjoy the setting as much as me 💗 Thank you so much for your feedback!! I'm often worried I can't get my feelings across as I would like to because I heavily script my videos. But I'm glad to know I'm reaching you!! 🥰
@@CloudySkiesGaming Awww, Cloudy! 💕 That's so sweet, thank you! But my current solution is.. reinstalling the game until it works 🤣 I'm very determined to play this, I can make this work! 👀🤣
I play a lot of early access games so that part doesn't bother me. I bought the game because I want to support development and early access is a way to do that. The game is obviously not finished and investing in an unfinished game comes with risks. The game is certainly less polished than other early access games but I think its frustrating to me that so many streamers and UA-camrs have not mentioned why early access is important to game development and why it might be good to buy the game even with all of its current short comings. Sometimes games go into early access as a way to get the money the need to finish the game and encouraging people to wait can be what actually kills the game. I don't think this is the case for Chef RPG but it's kind of weird that I haven't heard anyone actually discuss this aspect.
This is such a great point that you're mentioning here, and it is true - it is definitely not stressed enough how vital this early support can be for an indie project.🙏💞 I personally enjoy following the early development as a content creator and I would assume that there are also other passionate gamers who would love to support their favorite projects early on. I do occasionally tell viewers that early support matters. But I guess the majority of casual gamers just have limited free time on their hands and want to spend it with the most polished gameplay experience right from the get-go, because bugs and unfinished stories feel frustrating and spoil the fun for them. Cozy games like these are a way to de-stress and relax for many. And I have heard that Early Access often discourages them from checking out the game again after every update, especially when it doesn't let you keep all your previous progress/save data. I do understand both perspectives, and I want to support the games I love, of course. But most importantly, my videos are made with my community in mind first and foremost. Thank you so much for your input 🙏💞
The game looks gorgeous, and I'll definitely get it eventually. Definitely gonna wait for a while though, as it sounds like most of the things I enjoy from the game are currently missing. I like what you said about the NPC's making the city feel cold and lonely, that's definitely one of the vibes that Cyberpunk tends to go for. Hopefully there is a heavy rain weather and if we visit at night the city is lit up like a neon christmas tree haha. Two things that did bother me though, with the first being the rhythm minigame for cooking. I hate rhythm games and suck at them, so I'm glad you only have to do it once. The other thing is the actual placement of cooking items, I want a completely separate room for cooking so I can decorate the main space exactly how I want haha.
I guess I’m on the same page as you! The atmosphere is definitely dope, but it’s just missing that extra oomph factor, which could easily be improved over time. Oh, and I started the game in the summer... and it was dark and raining! Totally unexpected, but it set the perfect vibe. Also, I completely agree about disliking minigames like these, but I think the game handled them well enough to make them less of an issue in the long run. And yeah, an extra kitchen sounds awesome - or at least a room divider or a half wall would be nice!
I, of course, love Hazel and her pink hair! I love me some androids and her malfunctioning is so cute. I think I can fix her 😂 I’m glad you brought out the ability to select the starting season. It seems like such a small thing but I love so much I can jump into Autumn first and get the goodies for my dishes there first. Thank youuuu so much for the video! I’m always so excited to hear your thoughts, and you gave so much insight on this! Especially once it’s all fleshed out this game could become one of my favorites 😊
This really takes the expression of "fixing" someone to a whole new level, LOL. Autumn is such a great season for rare ingredients and amazing dishes, both in-game and irl Thank you so much!! I totally agree, this game has tons of potential!
Please let me know if there are any of you out there who dig immersive settings like these. Or maybe I'm the odd one here 😂

might just be the autism, honestly.
