Thanks for all this great info! I have this pump and about to switch to pumping, so it was helpful to hear a little bit more about how I can use it. I’m hoping to use lacteck flanges with this, got to get an adapter
Working on it! It takes about 20-30 hours to test a pump with all the cups and provide users feedback that's technical enough for my liking. But it's in the works!
Really loving ur video.. just wondering how this pump compares with pumpables super genie in terms of function/suction and which one will u prefer for most mums?
I can tell you at the present time I prefer the unimom opera because the Super Genie is a very short pull! It's supposed to be redesigned and when that happens has the potential to actually beat most pumps! It's on my list for when we start this series again in mid june!
I was extremely disappointed with customer service when my brand new pump's battery failed after 1 or 2 short sessions, and after conflicting information, they tell me I would have to pay them to ship the pump back and forth and possibly for the battery placement. It's really not great.
This was not always the case with them- the customer service used to be top notch. There do seem to have been changes and while I do absolutely love the pump I think moms deserve to know all concerns when making such a sizeable purchase.
@@RaspyMommy that’s fantastic! There just seems to be some inconsistencies and the hope is they get things sorted! This is marketed as an expensive pump so the service needs to be consistent on that
@@RaspyMommy Happy for you! My experience was back in January, so hope they're getting things sorted. Not holding my breath though, just heard of another mom this week with an experience similar to mine.
I love my horigen kit with pumpables insert paired with my unimom Opera. I feel like it decreases the suction a little but still very effective for me.
Thank you for covering the issues happening with Unimom because moms need to be aware.
Great talk! The clinical candor on your channel is superb.
Gotta put all the hours I've poured into helping moms to good use for the public!
Where is the other video about the more informed about different cups. I would like to see it.
How do you know if you need vibration or not?

You will likely love it!!
Thank you so much for this bideo!! What cups have great high suction do you prefer with this pump? Thank you!!
Thank you for this amazing video! I hope you made a video about what cups are amazing with this pump

If you had a choice between this one and the Spectra synergy gold which would you choose?
Unimom Opera- The Spectra SG is impractically large and not portable in my opinion

Can you only use Unimom specific duckbills for replacements or are there others you know of that are compatible?
Unimom kits use only unimom parts to my knowledge!
Can you use cups with this pump? And would love to see that future video about cups and hacks for this pump.
I was wondering this!!

Really? They're repairing mine, and they're covering everything.

I love the liquid style flanges with this pump! It's very comfortable and effective for a lot of moms!
