Shannon sometimes does an attack trying to step on gene with her left foot( the one on the right side of the screen), since the monster's head is so big sometimes the attack simply can't connect as gene gets pushed by her character model, it's an easy way to get free hits.
Not gonna lie, I actually enjoy Shannon 2 because it's mostly a blow-out. Outside of Shannon 1 in the Fighting Ring, she's the easiet boss for me overall. It's both depressing and funny at the same time. I also enjoy the song Poison Queen from her demon fight. It just has an energy to it that I love.
Is Tiger Joe a street fighter reference? His uppercut looks like Sagat's Tiger Uppercut. All Sagat's moves are "Tiger" something. And he's got the eye patch.
Tiger Joe was nice enough to do a one on one with you the first 2 encounters until the 3rd encounter he is with a group and turns into a trident demon when defeated.
The most brainless way to fight her I could come up with: map Floating Butterfly (multi-hit moves build up stun like crazy and the 3rd hit often staggers her), to triangle, then mash triangle and circle with your thumb (you'll avoid the grab automatically). Backflip every time she attacks (she's so huge you can keep attacking after the backflip without walking forward, so don't bother with duck/sidestep). So you'll stun her a lot, use Fully charged Fist of Justice after every pummel. The only problem is that you'll activate pummels prematurely with mashing, that's why after rolling under her stop pressing circle and just do 2-3 butterflies before evading.
For me Demon Shannon was actually the 2nd hardest boss when I did my first Hard KMS (the first was stage 3 Mad Midget 5). I guess it was my reflects sucking because her bitting attack is so fast I could hardly dodge it.
