    This makes me so happy to hear. Congratulations all around!! I am someone who found you through your fourth degree tear story. I had one with my first baby, then had a planned c-section with my second. I’d love a follow up about how you’re doing physically and mentally. It sounds like this birth (along with your second) was very healing for you, and I am grateful for that. Even though my second was via c-section, it was a walk in the park in terms of recovery compared to my first and in that way was a better experience. Anyway, I enjoy your videos. Congratulations on your precious baby girl and to your family!

      Thank you so much! & congratulations on your babies as well! I’m so glad you had a better experience with your C-section recovery, thankful to live in a time where that is an option for women! Thanks again for your comment💓

      Hello :) I had a third degree tear for my first baby and it was a terrible experience! I am still not fully recovered. I would like to have a second baby later but I am scared now. Could you request a C-section for your second birth because of the trauma?

      @@pinkfraise I am so sorry about your experience❤️ my doctor gave me the option of trying for a vaginal birth or having a scheduled c-section. I’m not sure if it’s the same everywhere, but I also have ulcerative colitis which played another factor. But even without that, she would’ve given me the option. Hope your doctor is the same and much love to you!

    Congratulations!!! I found you after I had my 3rd baby (vbac) 8 months ago! I had a 3rd degree tear and hemorrhoids and was a sobbing mess when I watched your video and it helped me SO much. I’m so happy to hear your experience with your 3rd 🩷 . God is so faithful to bring healing and peace to you and others through your very hard birth experience that is now just a memory! God used you through something so personal and vulnerable and you were willing so share and that’s so beautiful 🫶

    Curious if your birth center would transfer you for severe tearing? Mine said they do and it’s given me some fear around it. I really want to do a water birth though and that’s not an option at a hospital

    • @JennaWicklund2
      @JennaWicklund2  6 місяців тому +1

      Yes, they typically transfer to the hospital for 3rd or 4th degree tear🙂 I’m sorry to hear you have anxiety around it. I know it is a tough decision

      @@mubeenakhan1897 hi again! Though I cannot give medical advice, I can tell you my experience! My doctors also recommended a C-section but when I was pregnant with my second I decided to go to a birth center with midwives instead of a hospital. They really eased my fears & I had natural water births for my second & third babies

      I also had a 4th degree tear. Go find a really good pelvic floor therapist before trying surgery. You can also look for someone who is trained in hypopressive techniques. I'm so sorry you're suffering.

      Pelvic floor therapy can help sometimes. I've also heard about sacral nerve stimulator, tibial nerve stimulator (it's for bladder issues but it can help for this as well and there are testimonies about it)
