Never understood the concept of caging the Queen, how is that going to make them stay? The only thing that will make them stay is Larvea, I have put an excluder over the entrance and they all left but the Queen. I just give them a frame of open brood works every time. I just found a green-marked queen in a swarm, that looks professionally marked like a commercial Queen.

Gives the bees time to get the Swarm impulse out of their system. If they feel settled she will be more likely to settle.
Where are you roaming around, by the way. Is it some jungle?
