I've said it before but I'll say it again....these guys play every song like it's their favorite song. Shake it Out is 14 years old and they play it like they wrote it yesterday and can't wait to let the world hear it. Hands down one of my favorite bands ever.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I saw this in concert 14 years ago in Salt Lake City. We've been going to shows ever since. My all-time favorite band.
"I felt the Lord begin to peel off all my skin. I felt the weight within reveal a bigger mess...that you can't fix." Gives me goosebumps every single time.
It’s so cool to watch this song evolve over the years like you have as musicians. Y’all are crushing it musically. Thanks for playing your old stuff! The new music is amazing too. Beautiful venue. For those like me that were curious it called “The Armory” in Minneapolis as it used to be a National Guard armory. Thanks for the music! ❤ Andy if you read this six months from now Merry belated Christmas🎉
This is the song that always played in my head whenever needing to jog while in the military. Thank you for the years of rhythm & for getting me to watch "Over The Top"
I’ve seen over 200 bands live and there is no one that plays as tight as you guys play. The chemistry and emotion you bring, I heard someone refer to it as sermon-like and it can honestly move you like god moves some people. If you ever get a chance to go to a show, do it. I saw them for the first time last summer and it changed my life.
You guys have a song for every emotion. Doesn't matter what I'm dealing with good or bad, if I want a song to match what I feel I just go look for a MO song. YOU ROCK.
I love the fact that it's a pure old school rock and roll approach. No "in ear" monitors. Wedges and and a stage mix (and that guy is gigging it too). So fkn cool in this day and age.
Yesssss. So glad they picked this song. Id love to hear rerecordings of some older songs that they played around with and changed during live shows. Pride, only one and this song for sure. Be nice to have this on spotify also if i can figure that out.
Good lord... the videography on this is amaaaazing! Seriously. The timing of the frame right behind Andy at the end is perfection! Kudos to the camera guy and ofcourse, another great live version by MO! Saw them at Summer Stage in Central Park and another top notch live set! They never disappoint!
Great band overall! They’ve evolved so much since this song was originally released. There’s no other band out there that has improved on every single album the release. And live? You can’t beat MO live. You just can’t.
I keep hoping they'll bring bells to a live version like they have on the album; nonetheless, this is incredible, so happy to see another live edition of this song!
I was there! Been waiting each day for this video to show up. Sad no crowd shots 😢. Thought maybe me screaming along may show up somewhere. Lol. Awesome show guys. Don’t forget to keep coming back to MN.
Nov 2009 , you at Newcastle carling academy , supporting biffy clyro, this song changed my fkn life You elongated the heavy drums and guitar section like 10 times was IN SANE !!!!
You do understand he was joking when he said it was a Taylor Swift song. This is Shake it out by Manchester Orchestra. The Taylor Swift song is Shake it Off. 1 word of difference but 2 different sets of lyrics and chords.
It's not haha. Both TS and MO released songs with similar titles ('Shake It Out" vs "Shake It Off") around the same time, and so both fanbases kept stumbling into the other song back.
This song just ages like a fine wine. 14 years on and still killing it.

Man, I would love a live album from you guys 🤞 the sound is just incredible
I believe the live video for The Way is from the same night. Maybe they release the whole concert? 👀👀
@@bondaid1 that is my dream

@@bondaid1 oh man. On vinyl!!
We need a live album. Always been one of the best live shows from the start.
Cameraman was definitely shaking it out. ❤

It used to be on my jogging playlist. I don't jog anymore but I remember how motivated it kept me to keep going.
Please don't ever stop rocking this song!

This song made me a Manchester Orchestra fanboy. Thank you VH1 for playing this tune that one morning 14 years ago!

One of my favorite songs from you guys. The final part of this song is so spectacular!
Haven't headbanged at my desk so much before. Love this song in any form.
You stoned it! Rarely a cover beats the original like this one does. What a 💥 killer 💥!

I am so glad I found Manchester Orchestra. This was a great version of the song, and I loved the video.
I’ve had the pleasure of following your career since seeing you perform with Sovus Radio at Smith’s Olde Bar in… 2006.
I keep hoping they'll bring bells to a live version like they have on the album; nonetheless, this is incredible, so happy to see another live edition of this song!
The drummer is fucking brilliant! What a band i hope you guys tour in the UK soon!!! 👏👏
Rocked back then, still rocks
Wow. One shot. Amazing.

This is the song that brought me to M.O. YAS!
May Taylor get all credit for this. But Manchester Orchestra be hailed for sending this 🎉❤
Best band of 2023, and it’s not even close.
One of the best bands ever.
What a blessing
One of my favourites
Thank you for this!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Bravo les garçons....merci pour cette energie positive
you know you guys are like, the best band ever right?
You guys are amazing I hope to see you perform in Montreal one day ✌🏻
if you guys wanna do this for Colly Strings, I Could Barely Breathe and Where Have You Been i can die happy

Taylor Swift has never sounded better 😄
Tots agree Christopher… Swifty fans will appreciate this music video 💯% - what a rendition! 🎸
Who?
I came here to say this

@@christiancamlin13 - yeah, no, I know. Thus the laughing emoji :)
Manchester Ochestra😂😂❤never disappoints
This show was amazing! ❤
Every time you think it can’t get any better MO has to go and do something like this. 😂 My goodness. I want a full live record! Pretty please.
Bahaha that's a hell of a cover 😅, wish I could have been there
Perfect.
Good job boys!
Filmed at the Armory in MN?
I think the armory is now a chain like the filmore
Yup. Was at the show, that's the exact same opening comments. And venue seems static the whole video.
Fkn love it
This song goes incredibly hard every single time
Taylor Swift's been real quiet since this dropped.
F****ing AMAZING
Prince be doing the damn thing.
Love u guys
Swell mix.. Can you make another and put in some October Ends tunes? Dark and Call Play Time are pure bangers!!!
My mother whenever I listened to this song with her always cringed whenever Andy screamed. I loved it.
Chills.
I'm surprised how many people in the comments actually think this is a Taylor Swift cover 😂
For the record, I know it's not!
I was at this show at the Armory in Minneapolis. Much better in person… but love the memory!

"This song's a Taylor Swift cover" 😂
Maybe I'm dumb but he's joking when he says this is a Taylor Swift cover right? Regardless of that this is an awesome performance.
Yes lol. Shake It Off is Taylor’s song.
HEAVVVVVVVVY
Travis Kelce gave this two thumbs up.
One day he's going to say that and actually shred shake it off.
Anyone else notice the lack of in-ear monitors and wedges all across the stage.
not the taylor swift cover 😭😭
Are we getting a greatest hits Album? And FUCK that's a great rip of that song.
The good old days when each song was unique.
Welp. Never knew this was a T Swift song.
