Thanks again, now is very clear the problem of transportation. With these information l can work to my turistic plan in two different variants. I wish you all the best!
Thanks! One thing has changed since that video. From this year 2024 then in airport you cant buy a bus ticket from bus with cash, so you have to buy it online if someone plans to come from airport via bus
We will be coming there in October on a cruise as one of the port stops from out initial cruise from Athens- My Name is N Jay I am from Orlando Florida- hopefully we will see you to say hello
That is so nice to hear! Let me know when you are arriving and i make sure we bump into each other in city. I like US people because i actually was in Orlando about 6-7 years ago for 3 weeks and went on a carribean cruise. It was awesome!
I will next month, and the hotel is in Farilaki, so I was wondering if at the airport there's any kind of bus information. I think with taxi will too expensive. That's why I wanted to take the bus ☺️
You have to take the bus to rhodes city first from airport. Should cost 3.5€ and the ticket has to be bought online: eticketingroda.amco.gr/Index.aspx then take the bus from rhodes city to faliraki. Ticket is 2.5€ and can be bought in kiosk at bus station. From year 2024 they do not sell bus tickets from bus at airport. Bus is leaving atleast every hour, sometimes half an hour. I use google maps info for buses if I come from Airport - should be so so accurate
Hi Im visiting Rhodes first time and was wondering which area is best to live preferably with sea views and travel by bus for siteseeing...Thanks a bunch.
Hi! I would say the best place to live would be in Rhodes town to Faliraki area because of good access to bus schedule. , sea closeby and most of the sightseeings are mostly on east side of the island :)
To Ixia i would take a bus from airport, not so long way to go and bus comes every 30 mins and the ticket is cheap. It may happen that all the taxis are busy because alot of people visiting. With taxi it may not be as hot as travelling with bus and the price to ixia should be around 20 euros
@@foiabun1 i am pretty sure it will safe from Archangelos to up north this time. At this point wind is towards Kiotari and moving more south. Situation is bad but we will survive
Hey I’m from Mexico and planning to go to Rhodos in two weeks. I wonder how can you go from the airport to the hotel? Taxi airports feel like a scam for me. Are there also buses/shuttle options there?
Hey! Where is your hotel located? Taxi from airport to Rhodes town is around 28-30€. Best option is to take a bus( it costs around 3€ and you need CASH for that) but bus will be totally full in 5 stops usually. If i had to choose, i would take a bus or second option would be renting a car for a day so you can drive somewhere and see something aswell. :) feel free to ask any questions and welcome to Rhodes soon! :) you could always write to hotel for shuttle option but i am pretty sure that ask taxi price from you
Taxis from airport to all resorts are fixed prices on a board at taxi rank and are fair, especially if there's 2 or more in each taxi. No waiting, usually in a taxi and on your way in minutes..I have used them many times. If you opt for a bus don't forget that your hotel/ accommodation may not be close to a bus stop. Taxi from outside airport best way...I have been to Rhodes 20 times and will be going in June and I will definitely use the airport taxis...no scam believe me. On your way in minutes, you know the fare and the drivers know where your accomodation is.
Hello from Hungary! I am 98% sure that you can't buy ticket via mobile app. They do not use apps much here. It is a good day if you find excel timetable with correct info on bus companys website 😁✌️
@@pogesz007 You are welcome! Yeah car is easier because buses can be full sometimes and they come when they come, sometimes never 😁 I use Marathon or Siech car rental services on this island. Very professional and hussle free. I hope you have a great vacation! 🌞🏝✌️

Buses are out of option, they are sent to south of rhodes to help evacuate people
@@looneytravels Oh, that's good to know. Do you think fires might reach north of the island as well?
