Hey Matt it was great seeing you with Sam in this video and helping her get more exposure for her channel..Thought that was very nice of you I'm a regular viewer of yours and Sam's.
You guys are my very favorite RV reviewers!!! One request- Please show the door(s) to the bedroom on your reviews - show them opening and closing and how much they block off. Please?!
❤❤ Mat, on the bunk, measure from front to back of top bunk. Now, measure from the ceiling down that same distance. Now drop down 2 or 3 more inches to compensate for the thickness of the frame. This is where the bunk would have to be mounted, unless it was a 3/4 flip up.👍👍 One last thing. If you knock 3 times on the face of the dishwasher it will unlock it.🤪
"..sleeps 10...." There isn't an RV created that I'd be in with 9 other people! lol Dislikes: twisty locks on storage doors, bunk beds, tv position, window where headboard would be (deal breaker), sink behind dinette seating, cheap looking blinds, hard to access storage under the dinette seating (just like our Esteem 29V), no auto-leveling (another reason we bought an Esteem), shower, Likes: warranty, farmhouse interior, and nightstand with drawers by bed. From a 2021 Esteem 29V owner, we initially went to put a deposit on an Odessy, the salesman, did an excellent job of educating us on why we should buy the Esteem 29V that was on the lot and the deal made it only $7k more than the planned odessy purchase. -- Regards, Larry
Love Matt and Andrea's reviews. Love Sam's YT videos. Sam sold us our 2022 31F last September at RV One Sarasota. Hi Sam, great to see you on this video. You were wonderful to work with and very responsive to all of our questions and requests. You even hopped up on the roof a couple of times to insert our SIM card into the Winegard unit. Thanks for making the process so easy for Michelle and I. We love our 31F but we do have a couple of minor dislikes. 1 - All of the drawers will slide open at the first sign of a corner, sometimes even on a straight road. It's mildly annoying that it seems to be common on all of them. 2 - The rear view camera only shows around 20ft behind you. Maybe that's normal but our last RV had a much longer range of view. 3 - There isn't an easily accessible light switch from the door/steps if you are entering the coach at night. The closest is the overcab bunk lights. All minor and easy to resolve or workaround.
For the TV, I would like to see a good projection TV. The screen could then be ceiling mounted and roll down anywhere ... in front of a window, over the dinette, ... anywhere that gives the best view.
First off, I agree with Andrea about the TV placement. I would prefer to lose the off campside window to have the TV directly across from couch than to have it up in the over the cab bunk. What is interesting is that in numerous other reviews Matt has used the over the cab bunk TV placement as a dislike…..what’s changed your opinion, Matt?? Dislikes: 1. The privacy curtain for the cockpit. Once it’s up it renders the swivel chairs useless. 2. The front window in the bunk c/w auto shade. After traveling it’s tough to wash the bugs off that window. Additionally, with kids sleeping in the bunk, the flimsy auto shade is likely to be damaged. 3. The access to the under the dinette seating storage. It would be much better if there was doors or drawers to access the storage. Another option would be to have access to that storage from the outside. 4. The jackknife bed…..I understand why they use a jackknife bed but a trifold would be better. 5. Two-way refrigerator. Would prefer a compression (12v) refrigerator for the added room. 6. Propane stove and oven. An induction cooktop and convection microwave would be preferable. That little oven isn’t good for much more than baking cookies. 7. Radius shower. 8. Narrow doorways into the bedroom and bathroom. Matt had to turn sideways to get through them. 9. The bunk beds not being multi-use. It would be nice if that space could be used to hang clothes or convert into a desk when not needed for bunk beds. 10. No solar. Likes: 1. The drawers under the bunk beds. Gives the kids a place to store their clothes and whatnot. 2. Under the bed storage…..and it’s accessible from the outside. 3. Available dual A/C units.
Televator on the dinette, needs convection microwave, 100% agree on the piano hinges under dinette seats- and hinges for the bunks to flip up. There is no good placement for a TV in the bedroom. Like the large Fridge, the awning and the 450. The valances are super ugly- it seems like those have not changed no matter how many people comment on how awful they are. Something neutral would be so much better. Most of these changes are super easy fixes and would make this a super attractive RV.
Sorry, but any RV where you have to sit sideways to watch TV is a loser IMO. My fave now is the Forrester 3011DS. I'd love to see you review that one! Thanks and Happy New Year!
On a 31 foot unit just put auto level, need a better dining area with drawers and cushions, I would opt for the newer “electric” type frig that is larger. Drawers and outlets on both sides of bed even if small. Kitchen extension needs to be larger. Bunk needs to be converted to closet, if needed. Very nice unit.
Likes: CCC, bunk over the cab, bunks, storage under the bed Dislikes: no solar, jackknife sofa, uncovered fuel fill up. Thanks for testing out the sleep areas for us.
Agree with Andrea, I hate the tv over the bunk. Best solution…a tv that would store/drops below the window of the dinette, that covers the window when being used. Most use a tv at night, I would. That’s when you draw your blinds, anyway. Great reviews, Matt and Andrea. Thank you!
TV in the bunk is inviting it to be kicked by the person sleeping up there. It's a bad angle to watch from the sofa. Should be directly across from the sofa so It can be seen from at least one of the front seats.
Hey guys.. I agree with Andrea. Put the TV on a televator table dinette, but leave the TV in the overhead bunk. Dislikes... 1, TV needs to be on a televator 2, Radius shower 3, No piano hinge on dinette seats. 4, Kitchen and Bathroom sinks could be a little bigger 5, At this price, Auto Levelers should be standard.. Likes... 1, Regular big microwave and real oven. Hate convection microwaves.. 2, Fiberglass roof.. Love it.. 3, Love, Long bunk beds. Kids aren't the only ones who sleep in bunks 4, Two A/C units.. ...
TV SUGGESTION... there should be a flip up TV covering the over the cab bed when the TV is used!!! Also the 2 tone wood is a thumbs down, perhaps from a shortage??? I strongly dislike the TV in the bunk area!!! Even a televator by the dining table with a shorter table works, which keeps the window!!!
The TV should differently be across from the sofa, and theater seating option would be great too! After all, it has bunk beds, so there's no need for a jackknife sofa. Also, too much counter space in front of the sink instead of behind it. Reaching that far to wash dishes would be a pain on your back. I agree with you Matt about the bunk beds should have a fold up option. I would like to see solar panels and a 12 volt refrigerator installed as well. Hopefully, there will be some improvements in the 2023 model.
Hi Matt abs Andrea my likes are the bedroom and bunk over the cab the fact you can fit 750 lbs on the bunk. And like the counter extension. My dislikes is dinette needing pianohinges so you don’t get splinters. Other than that it’s a very nice Class C. Entegra did well with this one. Thank you Matt and Andrea for showing this one.
I would prefer a tv in the bunk over the cab for the kids and a tv over the dinette! Likes: Bed is useable with the slide in, the dark cabinets, and the huge storage under the bed is also accessible from outside. Dislikes: Twist locks on the basement storage doors should be slam latch, sewer release valves should be inside the wet bay, refrigerator is too small for a bunkhouse, and the pantry should have drawers.
Entegra I so wanted to like this but I just can't and here is why. Outside storage doors need to be side open with chrome locks, dinette has no pull drawers, kitchen sink mounted diagonal loses much needed counter space, needs pull down shades not crappy blinds. Jack knife couch is a no. TV placement is just ok. What I do like is the overhead bunk area. Its overall a C- for me.
Ah, yes! The valances I LOVE! 😁 And the dinette plywood, I dislike. Drawers, please! I love the bedroom. I dislike that it has only one nightstand with drawers. I love all the seating. I dislike the shower, too. And, finally...lousy TV placement. DEAL BREAKER. I'd have to put one on the table whether it had a televator or not.
Another great video guys! Always appreciate hearing what the CCC is when you first enter. Agree about putting piano hinges on the dinette storage area. Like you guys wish it was a 50amp, but hey at least there's 2 ACs. Thanks guys!
I’m hoping the Greyhawk/Odyssey start putting drawers in the dinette benches. This would solve issues getting to the storage and solve a bigger issue for people that travel with cats, we can take the drawer out to put a litter box or cat sleeping areas. If they put drawers, leave the non-piano hinge access so we can get to the space under the seat.
Integra,. Please change the valances. No more southwest style. Also Integra, please either put piano hinges on the dinette seats or put drawers below the dinette seats. Thank you.
I really like this Class C!! I agree with Aundrea, I'm not a fan of the TV placement. It's a neck bender and not very convenient for viewing. I would like to see a hinged solid wood or a composite type panel under the dining cushions for easier access too. What surprises me is the amount of sleeping space and storage both inside and out!! I loooove that you can access all the essentials while in travel mode, without having to extend the slide. As well as both cab chairs being able to rotate for more seating. That's almost unheard of in a class C! I usually tend to lean more towards truck and pull behind trailer, but this does intrigue me.
Great video! We own the 2021 model and wish that the auto leveling was standard as it is a pain to level a 15000 pound RV. I would definitely make sure my unit had it if I were buying again.
How can an RV manufacturer that promotes themselves as being an upscale RV maker think it is okay to slap a piece of plywood over the dinette storage and not even include a piano hinge? That tells me that they don't care about the things that are not seen. Not a good message to be sending to a prospective buyer.
Jayco and Entegra are adding piano hinges to dinettes at model year change. And I disagree with your perception. Jayco and Entegra pour so much money into beneficial features, both interior and exterior. Take, for instance, the seamless fiberglass front cap, the upgraded ride and handling package (unseen), the well-constructed front bunk that holds 750 lbs., the seatbelts in all designated seating locations (putting them in places even when it is not required), the flush floors, the world-class vacuum bond lamination that is done in-house, and so much more, especially as you work your way up price points. With as much as Jayco and Entegra put into these coaches, it seems reasonable to think that they would have to find ways to keep costs down over time (Imagine the cost of buying tens or hundreds of thousands of these hinges. It's expensive for a manufacturer!). While still maintaining a sizable storage area in the dinette booths (more than you'd have with a pull-out drawer), leaving out piano-hinges was just one way to make sure the price of the whole coach stays reasonable while still having all of the awesome other features. Especially with how prices have been increasing worldwide for nearly every part and product, it is more important than ever for manufacturers to find ways to keep their products as reasonably priced as possible for the final customer. However, like I said, piano hinges are still being added starting model year 2023.
@@kcalebwalters Glad you are adding them at model changeover. But that only confirms my point that they should be there even if costs a couple dollars more. As a retired Director of Quality in the automotive industry and recognize that quality levels in the RV industry seriously lag behind auto industry levels, I still appreciate it when you do listen to the voice of the customer.
@@kcalebwalters Saw one of these at Ocala RV show Thursday.. brought my wife up today to check it out... made a verbal deal on it, but another couple loved it and wanted it, so we are getting one that has a June delivery date... I hope it's on time !
Would love to have a TV in the Master Suite; Would be nice if the dining table was on a sliding hinge to allow for larger folks to sit comfortable; Bunk over the cab is awesome; Keep TV in bulk area, add another in sitting area; Rear bunk needs to raise for more versatility.
Good storage below and a decent wet bay. Great to have 2 AC units on this unit. Great screen on the radio/camera unit. Nice that it has a built in TPMS, all class A’s, C’s should have this (hint, hint Ford). Nice cabinets. Decent bunks, like that you can use the bathroom and beds with the slides in. Dislikes: bad TV placement, hate the twisty locks, no pull out storage under the dinette, radius shower, top bunk doesn’t pivot up, no TV in the bedroom
I agree with Andrea about the tv. This unit was built for families and they only have a small tv in the overhead area. Really? Offer option spaces for the bunk area. I would prefer space for more storage and a washer/dryer. Kitchen is nice. Matt, I don’t like the drawers under the dinette area because you don’t have full storage with the drawers. I much prefer lifting the bench, but you are correct in having hinges.
What would make this class c perfect would be, piano hinges for storage under the dinette seats or drawers. A hinged upper bunk. Better blinds throughout. Outdoor kitchen instead of the outdoor TV would be great.
nice one again, these seem to be getting better as i have watched, all rvs, do not like bunks at all, dont need any of them, double bunks could be desk and or closet space, washer dryer even, upper bunk above cab leave window where is, but storage on either side of window. or spots for other electronics.... a radar detector would be great with remote sensor up there in top window as one example. ... all rv regardless of type, seem to be getting nicer with better features, and easier to customize if wanted to over the last couple years. especially the cheaper ones.
They have their issues like all the others. The glue used on the floor bleeds through and leaves yellow spots from front to back, the bunk shade is poor design and separates from cross bar. Under the fridge is the hot water tank and the water pump. They screwed a receptacle outlet, just the outlet, no box or anything on the floor inches from both? I found this out while camping, the water heater leaked hit that outlet filling my RV with intoxicating smoke at 2:00 in the morning. None of this has been fixed as of yet, waiting on approvals from Entegra, it's been 5 months. Oh....and the water leak swelled the base of my kitchen cabinets.
I had to pause my tv and access UA-cam on my iPhone cause I don’t know how to comment on a tv viewing. Because you said you love those valances. I hate those valances dealbreaker #1.
Andrea: "Is Matt going to skip"?,,,,Matt's reply: "Yes Mam I am " and he does. Lol You 2 crack me up!! Happy New Year to you both, crew, and everyone!! :)
I agree w/Andrea that the TV does not belong in the bunk area. You have too turn your head to see it. Taller people can hit the TV when lying down. I'd give up 1/2 of the window over the dinette for better TV viewing.
This is a nice Class C. I don't mind the tv placement. Don't like the valance material (will they never run out of that kind?) I still would like wider steps on the ladders to the overhead bed. I like that it looks like it would be easier to put sheets on the top corners of the bed in this one. I don't need mirrors on closet doors. It would mean many fingerprints to clean off!
Change the TV placement. Also, where's the TV for the primary/ adult bedroom? Outdoor kitchen would make this family rv a dreamboat. Oh... please #entegra @entegra ... please hinge the dinette storage door or put drawers. Absolutely love the lighter / brighter color scheme and accent/ambient lighting in the slides.
As a woman alone, I do not like access into the RV from under storage areas cause the exterior storage area doors are not that heavy duty. No surprises please.
Matt, since half of RVs do not come with an attached ladder and some are not even capable of mounting one, I need a portable ladder to access my roof to wash and treat it and/or check the seals of my vents, Wi-Fi, ac units etc. Since you specifically mentioned that you can’t use the USTEPS to get on a roof, is there another portable ladder that you could recommend for this purpose?
I agree it would be nice if the bunk flipped up and there were piano hinges under the seats for the storage space and it would be nice if there were solar panels with the way things are going with them not allowing small motors generators are going to become a problem need to have more solar already on the vehicle when you purchase it not just as an option after the fact
Piano hinges are being added at model change, and solar can be optioned by the dealer before it is built. But I agree, the RV industry is already taking the transition to more renewable resources very seriously. Keep an eye out over the next several years to see how things change. It will be interesting!
Dislikes: TV placement (Gotta agree with Andrea on that one), Lack of piano hinges in storage compartment combined with lack of finish. (I hate getting splinters). Odd combination of darker cabinets and lighter cabinets in the bedroom. Twist lock storage doors Like: splash guard behind the cook top and to the left. Good storage (but still want outdoor kitchen.) Room for my CPAP machine on bedside nightstand.
Would rather have large tv maybe on a televator in front of the window. How long will it take for a foot, head, or storage items to go through the tv screen in the bunk over the cab. Valances are yuk!!
I like this unit but does it have a cover over the sink? I use my sink space for counter and need a sink cover. 🙁 I agree with Andrea, I don’t like the tiny tv in the bunk area. Love you guys!
I also do not like the TV placement. I think if the TV was dead center over the table; two smaller windows on each side of the TV would be better. Also, maybe a small horizontal window above the TV too. I didn’t like that the tank clean outs were exposed either. Our current MH has them hidden and protected inside an exterior door. #pianohinges Love that the front driver and passenger seats swivel! Also love those farmhouse cabinets. We love light and bright. Love the built in TPMS! Love the two AC units!
Matt, thank you for the page shout out! You are such a kind human and work so hard!
your link on the description is not working.
Thank you for letting me know! I changed my RV name to Sam Rad RV. I will see you there!
Hey Matt it was great seeing you with Sam in this video and helping her get more exposure for her channel..Thought that was very nice of you I'm a regular viewer of yours and Sam's.
Great video, Matt and Andrea! I agree with the need for the #pianohinge or slide-out drawers in the dinette seats.
I've been following Sam's channel for about a year.
She really knows her stuff and does a fantastic job of hitting all the important features.
Thank You!! -for being with me from the beginning

Hello, my 3 likes is the couch, toilet placement, and walk in with side in. My dislikes is the tv in the bunk, the small shower, and the double sink.
Thanks to Entegra. Love the oven finally! Love the farmhouse colors, bedroom storage . Why the dark cabinets in the bedroom.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I like the bunk TV. You could always add a different 12v TV anywhere and TV in bunk can be exclusively for bunk area.
That may be the best prime pooping position that I’ve seen on any of your videos.
Sorry, but any RV where you have to sit sideways to watch TV is a loser IMO. My fave now is the Forrester 3011DS. I'd love to see you review that one! Thanks and Happy New Year!
My wife and I saw this model in person last weekend and it hit all the wickets that we're looking for and is our favorite motor home so far.
I own this model and love it the only thing we would say that would need to be added is cup holders behind the couch

TV out of the bed area. Love the rest.

Put the TV on a televator table dinette, but leave the TV in the overhead bunk.
Dislikes...

Wow... that was a quick deployment and quick redeployment of that ladder, and looked very sturdy.
Hey you guys, why don't you ever come to California? I' m not in the market for an RV, but would love to shake your hand and say Hi.
West coast trip sometime in '22, I believe. Don't think there's any when/where details finalized yet, however.
When I first saw that latter, I thought - damn that is expensive. Now, seeing it in action, it is worth every penny.
Anther great video, thank you

Agree on the dinette storage. The counter extension would be better if it were flush with the counter and larger.
This Integra is awesome. Thanks so much for the information.

@@GaryNichols50 We absolutely do! And we always appreciate the feedback.
Don't block the window with the TV....that's my vote.
Prefer TV over the dinette too. They shouls include a TV in the bedroom also.
I agree with Andrea
Get the TV out of the bunk area
Awesome review!
TV out of the bunk bed!
Both of you are right. Move the TV to the corner between the bunk and window on a swing. Happy Spouses Happy Videos life.🤣😂
Nice job using the usteps in the video! Nice advertising lol
What would make this class c perfect would be, piano hinges for storage under the dinette seats or drawers. A hinged upper bunk. Better blinds throughout. Outdoor kitchen instead of the outdoor TV would be great.
Bigger TV over the window 👍
Ok I’m watching because I love you two! But you lost me at sleeps 10 people🤣
nice one again, these seem to be getting better as i have watched, all rvs, do not like bunks at all, dont need any of them, double bunks could be desk and or closet space, washer dryer even, upper bunk above cab leave window where is, but storage on either side of window. or spots for other electronics.... a radar detector would be great with remote sensor up there in top window as one example. ... all rv regardless of type, seem to be getting nicer with better features, and easier to customize if wanted to over the last couple years. especially the cheaper ones.
lol That was funny when he said "I love these valances" lol knowing full well /Andrea doesn't like them lol classic
Entegra builds quality. Love it. Cheers!!!
Entegra, please either add hinges or a drawer on the dinette, please. Thank you for listening.
Can you do a review of the esteem 30x in the blue color
Beautiful 😍
I agree w/Andrea that the TV does not belong in the bunk area. You have too turn your head to see it. Taller people can hit the TV when lying down. I'd give up 1/2 of the window over the dinette for better TV viewing.
This is a nice Class C. I don't mind the tv placement. Don't like the valance material (will they never run out of that kind?) I still would like wider steps on the ladders to the overhead bed. I like that it looks like it would be easier to put sheets on the top corners of the bed in this one. I don't need mirrors on closet doors. It would mean many fingerprints to clean off!
Drawers better, piano hinges at least!!! And How much is a little paint at least under the dinette bench seats!!
Wish they would find a better place for the TV.
Matt, we love your videos,, looking to buy soon
PIANO HINGES dinette storage, PLEASE! Or a drawer underneath! Otherwise, love it!
As a woman alone, I do not like access into the RV from under storage areas cause the exterior storage area doors are not that heavy duty. No surprises please.
The slab of plywood is all I need to know. Cheap crap should cost cheap crap
@@kcalebwalters I was told I have to add the solar at delivery in June
Make the window half size…. Give me a TV
I’m with you Andrea… I don’t like the valances either.👎🏼
Is that Matt's truck in the background when they are checking out the roof??? Love me a Class C! Great Unit!
Andrea is so right about the valences. They are terrible and don’t go with the cabinets.
Can the 31F be optioned with a king bed and table instead of dinette?
I love my windows and I would rarely watch TV.
Dislikes:
TV placement (Gotta agree with Andrea on that one),
Lack of piano hinges in storage compartment combined with lack of finish. (I hate getting splinters).
Odd combination of darker cabinets and lighter cabinets in the bedroom.
Twist lock storage doors
Like:
splash guard behind the cook top and to the left.
Good storage (but still want outdoor kitchen.)
Room for my CPAP machine on bedside nightstand.
Would rather have large tv maybe on a televator in front of the window. How long will it take for a foot, head, or storage items to go through the tv screen in the bunk over the cab. Valances are yuk!!
Televator! in the dinette area!
TV placement is my biggest pet peeve. I won’t a tv in the bunk and in the living room. #entegra fix the bunks make a dinette and flip up bunk!
#entegra PULL OUT DRAWERS (under the dinette seats) or PIANO 🎹 HINGES! Please and Thank You 😊
I like this unit but does it have a cover over the sink? I use my sink space for counter and need a sink cover. 🙁 I agree with Andrea, I don’t like the tiny tv in the bunk area. Love you guys!
I also do not like the TV placement. I think if the TV was dead center over the table; two smaller windows on each side of the TV would be better. Also, maybe a small horizontal window above the TV too.
I didn’t like that the tank clean outs were exposed either. Our current MH has them hidden and protected inside an exterior door.
#pianohinges
Love that the front driver and passenger seats swivel! Also love those farmhouse cabinets. We love light and bright.
Love the built in TPMS!
Love the two AC units!
I would prefer to switch the dinnet and the couch and put a televator in the dinnet. I would never want to have the tv I the bunk above the cab.
I don’t watch TV so I like where it is.
Loves him 😆
