Great vid chloe! A1 is looking the part! For the mirror caps if you cant find any you could just get your current ones sprayed gloss black at a body shop. that way you get to keep your OEM mirror caps!

pro n con of each fitment and give you their opinion on what thay recommen..... glad i purchased from these guy's as i wonted the widest possible spacers thet could fit my car, and everyone else i contact before purchasing them ill advised me and were happy to sell me anything 😀 😄 and after speaking with these guys thay advised me if im someone that never uses the back seats then the widest spacers will be fine, but if your like me and always has people inn the rear seats there a possibility of them rubbing

Very good fitment now. Spacers are next on the list for my car too, just got a great deal on some new wheels but they're specced on the safe side so probably gonna get a 15mm on the rear and 12mm on the front in my case. I'm almost certain once I do that I'll be dying to get lowering springs coz good fitment tends to exagerate arch gap so no doubt that'll be following not long after
Looks great, make sure you crack the wheel bolts off first when the wheels are down saves your back haha!

Quick tip for Chloe loosen the wheel nuts first then jack the car up, avoids you lifting the wheel up like you did. I hope you torqued them when fitting back on 😬
As for black mirror caps I got some off eBay for my old VW so should be plenty on eBay. Good luck!
Spray paint your calipers?
Did you use longer lug nuts when you put the wheels back on to account for the reduction in thread going into the hubs? If not then you should definitely get yourself some longer ones to ensure there's enough of the lug nut thread actually going i to the hubs to keep the wheels secure. It's not fun when a wheel falls off while you're driving... trust me 😔
@@nathangutteridge2376 Hey!! yeah we did, Forge/Awesome GTI sorted me out with some new longer bolts for the spacers, they even got me to measure my old bolts to ensure the new ones were longer etc! Ahhhh yeah I can imagine it wouldnt be fun😫😫
I’d strongly recommend taking the spacers off and applying anti seize to the back of the spacers, one uk winter and you’ll have to cut them off with angle grinders and air tools

Hello. If ever you need to change the wheel with car Jack ( which are crap ). Get in habit of always putting the wheel you just taken off under the the vehicle very close to Jack point
Should the Jack then fail or anything , you can get back under to Jack point again
Plus it stops the car coming down on you. Ok

Just a reminder to everyone that in the UK your bumper must always be the first point of contact in relation to spacing your wheels. Never go beyond the bumpers, though you can of course buy widening bodykits.

when you get new wheels get the fitment right and you can get rid of the crappy spacers :) :)
They're CNC machined in-house from a single billet of aerospace-grade 6082 alloy.

I don't think pressing the clutch less is good for the transmission
i'm not sure tbh! but it doesn't adjust it majorly, you can definitely feel the difference pressing it but in terms of the transmission, i dont think it would make too much of a difference🤷🏻♀️🙏🏼
Yeah it makes the clutch work harder as you're not fully engaging/disengaging it properly on every shift! Keep up the good content however!
@@menamesimtrash6644 on VAG cars, this doesn’t impact the transmission or clutch because it still fully allows the clutch to disengage. Depress clutch to start also still works even at 15mm. The deadzone before the biting point is normally just really bad on these.
