do you really need the 2.5" tray adapter though? SSD have no moving parts so it is not like there is a lot of vibration from them so the need to actually use all 4 screws is not required... the drive tray still allows for 2 of the screws to be used which seems like it would give the support it needs to be inserted into the bay and removed as the sides of the trays should not really flex that much with 2 screws in them against a rigid SSD. just wondering if the converter is really that much of a necessary expense, especially in a home lab type environment.
in the bios setting i can not see the sata setting , i can not see my HDD in any place , only if i remove the HDD or but it back i see then in the logs that for example HDD from bay 3 has been removed or has been back , advice me what to do :( ?

My R720xd is using 8 each 18TB Seagate EXOS X18 3.5: SATA drives configured in RAID 5. No issues noted.
