keeping someone from warning others or seeking justice because of your wrongdoing so that you don’t look bad or get in trouble even though it was your fault is so wrong. you’re right, they should 100% be illegal
"Hand off." The accurate and timely handing off of critical information to the appropriate next healthcare provider, for the sake of continuity, is essential. Documentation at both ends, that this has happened, is what is supposed to happen.
My mom had a stroke while she was in the hospital and no doctor came or called when requested at the time when she had left-sided weakness. It wasn't until 14 hours later that a PA decide to show up and then found that she had left sided weakness and at that time decided to do an MRI. Indeed, she was diagnosed with stroke to the right brain. If the doctor had responded right away, the damage would not be as severe. But unfortunately this did not happen at New York Presbyterian Queens. And nobody wants to take responsibility and no attorney wants to take this case. Who can I consult with? Who is able to help? Is there still justice anymore??? Or is justice only limited to the elite and the powerful?
My medical malpractice involves a unborn twin they wont remove from me. They stuck catheter in it to drain water and left it there its probably still alive at 43 years old to worsen things.
Not if you need the money. For those who didn’t die but have lifelong medical needs, you’ll need that money to live on. But obviously I would try to negotiate against signing an NDA as a condition of settling a lawsuit. Or, I would sidestep the NDA by using representatives to speak on my behalf.
@@SL-lz9jr if you need the money then sign the nda. lol you can get restitution you negotiated then claim that’s not enough restitution. It’s your fault. Also, using anyone to “speak on your behalf” would still be breach of contract.
Same logic as defending people who steal homes from elderly people for $500. These contracts are not made in good faith and they prey on the vulnerable.
Hospitals need to be more proactive in patient safety… they don’t even implement nurse invented devices like our medical line organizer The Beata Clasps to keep lines off the floor and easily traceable!!!
In the UK when it's Public sector, statutory service and the third sector. It's really hard to prove malpractice. The system is already against you before u could even access proper service or support. Already discriminated and disadvantaged from the very beginning.
Many legal ways the rich can harm the poor.
Rich will use all legal means to harm the poor who aren't serving them in the desired manner.
NDAs should be illegal.

UW has caused heartache in this home.
They really have a dumb system there. Like who would live in a system with “medical debt” and lawsuits, so weird.
Despicable
Why did it take 3 hours to repair a broken tooth?

Why don't doctors read reports?
