I bought the k200, the smallest one with the carbon fibre action. Good for home use.

Can’t wait for your full review of the K800! Would you add how it compares to the German and US equivalents?

In my limited budget I'm torn between (Samick JS-121 / Kawai K-15 / Kawai 506N /Ritmuller UP121S) wanted something that Holds tone well, Durable that will stay with me from intermediate to advanced level.

Ted. I’m researching a Kawai ST-1 vs a K-300. (The K-200 doesn’t come in a satin wood finish apparently. ). I’m in a townhome so a smaller soundboard/shorter height works better for me. How do these 2 compare? I’m a senior beginner but still appreciate a beautiful tone. I reeallly like the long music stand on the ST-1.

They both great instruments, but you hit the nail on the head...nothing like a long music desk to lay it all out. Since you mentioned beginner, you'll want that space for reading music and spreading it out. They compare as may suspect accordingly, to price. Happy shopping, playing and learning!!
