Obtain the blessings and protection of Lord Sri Balarama to conquer all fears, enemies and negative forces:
Remedy : For Rahu-Ketu Doshas, Mercury Doshas, Curse of Serpents and Cuse of Maternal Uncles
    Who is Lord Balarama?
Even though Sri Balarama is an incarnation of Adi Sesha, the divine thousand hooded serpent upon whom Maha Vishnu is reclining in 'Yoganidra', Sri Balarama Avatar is considered as the eighth among the Dasavatara as He is an embodiment of Maha Vishnu and a part of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Lord Vishnu incarnated as Balarama when all the Gods and Mother Earth appealed to the Lord for help and asked for release from the demon Kamsa, king of Mathura. Vishnu took one black and one white hair from His head and promised that these two would come to fight against the demons. This way, first Balarama (the white hair) and then Krishna (the black hair) incarnated in the womb of Devaki. To save Him from Kamsa, Balarama was transferred secretly from Devaki's womb to that of Rohini´s. Balarama was born as the elder brother of Krishna. At an early age he demonstrated great strength and physical prowess. He killed the demon Dhenuka and accompanied Krishna to Mathura and supported him until Kamsa was killed. Balarama is also known as Baladeva and Balabhadra. He carried a plough as his weapon. He was a master in the field of 'Gada-yudh' (mace-warfare).
    Why Sri Balarama Homam?
In the Puranas, Adi Sesha is said to hold all the planets of the Universe on his hoods and to constantly sing the glories of Maha Vishnu from all his mouths. Adi Sesha is also considered a Dasa (servant) as well as a manifestation of Lord Maha Vishnu himself. He is also known as Anantasesha or simply Ananta which means endless, as he is known to remain in existence even after the end of the Kalpa, when the whole world is destroyed. Balarama who is the avatar of Ananta is a symbol of great strength, an obedient son and an ideal brother. He is a protector from desires, the divinity of strength or the strength of the divine, symbolising duty, honesty and simplicity.
