wow - brings back memories ... last Cold Kiwi i went to was almost 35 yrs ago .....just before i left NZ and headed overseas. Love the Ironhead Sportster too !
I wonder what difference you would see. Bikes more polished and controlled by system, more road/ council regulations who knows. Not many old bikes there. Could count them on fingers of both hands . Still really awesome rally and for me start if cold kiwi adventure for years to come
@@WrenchingIrons Yeah mate - back then there was all the old Tirumphs, Moto Guzzis, Ducatis to name a few, great to see the rally still going though, always a great time. Enjoing your vids all the way over here in the US
Thanks mister. Much appreciated. It's hard to try to do something else aye. I watch others videos and they are all funny and all. I'm not like that haha.
Yeah. I usually ride solo do it's hard for me to stop as I just want to keep riding. So doing this filming makes me stop and appreciate the scenery and slow down a bit. As I don't smoke 😁🔥
You gotta watch out for those steel belts in the tyre doing the burn out, I saw a guy chop his number plate in half in a few seconds one year. was cool.
Dutch mate of mine used old car innertubes as bootcovers looked stupid but worked . he also used tread of tyres to make soles for his clogs, again looked crap but good grip
Too be honest I don't know. That's what they said. Guy had a bit of a red face trying to get her going. Seemed a lot of compression. In the next video the weather unravels
Wow $2.72 for 91-oct I imagine about $3 for 98-oct😔😔 that's disgusting... I done the cold Kiwi from Palmerston North to waiouru when I was 18 years old (about 1992) with a group of about 12 of us that all worked at Higgins Edit: I’ve lived in Australia since 1996

True that. I was just wondering that we breath that shit in. My hands were covered in black rubber specs 😁
Well done, another brave soul enjoying the elements
Got to do it aye. What else is there to do

What looks nice and not is a matter of perspective aye. To him might have looked mint! And if it works even better 😁👌😊😊👌
