It was a wonderful thing Reagan did with the auction! It was an honor to be a part of it. If there is ANYTHING I can do to help Reagan out on her endeavors please let me know!!!!
What a wonderful thoughtful girl Reagan is, all credit to her and you for your support to charity, I wish more children were like her. I enjoy your videos and content, great picking, love from sunny lockdown UK X
Congratulations on a year! There are a good handful of UA-cam resellers that I love and try to keep up with when I can, but my personal progression has been Lonnie, John, You, and Mike aka That Reseller Guy.
Another great video Kevin. I would like to say that Reagan did such an amazing job. Even with the technical difficulties she held her own. What an inspiration she is to kids and grownups everywhere. You can do anything that you set your mind and heart to do. Thanks Kevin.
I actually watched CincinnatiPicker first then Bearded Picker, Garage Flips and Commonwealth Picker. You and your family are an inspiration and I don’t miss an episode.
Would you consider a tour of your antique booth space? I bet there would be a lot of requests for items out of it. You might even sell them directly and avoid eBay fees.
I don't think I had one, I just started reselling Feb 1st and I dove deep fast and was watching so many resellers so fast. Lonnie, Matt, John CP, Lot of Josh, Hairy Tornado, and Rally Roots were my first channels for sure and it has quickly spread to so many that influence my education in this endeavor. Kat, you of course, Troy, RVA, and so many others, it is an amazing community
thanks for all the kind words. yes i sent a truck plate and a car plate and 2 motor cycle plates. you guys are awesome just love what you all do keep up the great videos
Hi Kevin, looking forward to seeing video on Mickey shirt, my full name Gamaliel Acts 5:34 but my friends call me Gama. Thanks for all the valuable info. A video on abbreviations NWT NIB...etc would be cool.
I started watching The Crazy Lamp Lady (who I discoved later lives and shops near me!) then Real Nifty Vintage (who came to PA to shop with her) then Matt @ PTP who sent me on to you, then Hairy Tornado. I also occasionally watch Lavender Clothesline and Thrift Trader. You guys all make my treadmill time fly by each morning!
Hey Kevin, I once had a buyer from Vietnam send me a lowball offer on a pair of Doc. Martin boots. I declined the offer and the next day, he sent another one 50 cents higher. He kept this up until he ran out of offers. During that time I relisted the boots and he started all over with the same lowball offer...blocked. Forgot to mention, because he was from Vietnam, the offers always came in at 3 a.m. and woke me up.
Regan's interview was awesome. I sat my 9 yo son Hunter down to see what she had to say. He got excited and started finding toys and comping them cause he has seen me do it lol. While auction was happening he was freaking out excited, while my wife decided i needed to help make her first mecari post ;)
I found Matt at part time pickers, then lonnie at garage flips first then shed flips, then John Cincinnati picker and you at roughly same time. I watch all videos of you 4 everyday for my routine. I like how each of you are different and have different views but all one goal. So it gives me different point of views to help me out. Each are unique on your own and I like that.
Reagan was great. That kid has more confidence at 9 than I think I’ll ever have 😂 My progression...well, Cincinnati Picker was the first one, then Hairy Tornado, Part Time Pickers, and then you like the same day as Matt, I believe. Thanks for sharing! Take care❣️
Commonwealth Picker thank you!! I’ve so enjoyed watching your show and all the positivity! I’ve heard that expression a couple of times and I figured it couldn’t be as ominous as it sounded-ha! Thank you for taking the time:)
My progression... Found Cincinnati Picker first and really liked his garage sale videos. Then added a few others who I eventually didn't like because they seemed too wrapped up in using their videos to tell how much money they're making. I like the sourcing, what's selling and all the ideas and have zero interest in resellers who focus their videos on how much money they're making. Currently my main channels to watch are the following: Commonwealth Picker/Flipper: Just all round good entertainment. Good information. Humor. It has personality. Cincinnati Picker: I love his recent storage shed purchase videos and his garage sale videos. But I find his "what's sold" videos to be dry and repetitive. Part-Time Picker: I love how he stretches the boundaries with what he sources. I like that he keeps his "what's sold" videos short and talks about viewer questions. Craigslist Hunter: What he does is vastly different than what I do, but he's very knowledgeable. Also during the shutdown, he's been a very sane voice with how to cope with it. After watching the above, I really don't have time to watch others.
My first ebay scam was the buyer wanted to send their "mover" with a check in person and avoid going through ebay. Just block them. I also like it when a buyer purchase an item and can't figure out why do they have to pay first. Tell that to walmart and see how that works out. Lastly are the ones that sends fake checks paying you more than the value of the item. Checks are not real.
The first video I saw was yours, then I got into Josh at Hairy Tornado, Lonnie, RalliRoots, and Pete, CLH. Now I watch everything you put out. I generally watch everyone in that group.
How do you block a buyer? I had someone ask for a measurement on sandals then bought it then cancelled it. Then she sent me a pick of similar sandals and said “if they look like these I’ll buy them”. I told her no they didn’t cause I didn’t want her shady business but I couldn’t figure out how to block her
I started watching hairy tornado first, then started watching craigslist hunter which is one town over and have bought some amps and carpet cleaning stuff from him. Then i started watching tesla picker and from there i started watching Lonnie. From there it was a free for all checking out a bunch of great creatots. But these are the first few i watched :)
I was watching trash talk with Gary Vee and I was rewatching them because it seemed like something I would like. And your video was recommended to me then the Cincinnati Picker. I watched for a couple months before I started reselling. That’s awesome of y’all and everyone doing that for St Jude👍
Commonwealth Picker It was picking up but I pretty much went through all the quick sellers and now I’m waiting for some garage sales and thrift stores to open. I’ve been doing some RA but I’m trying not to pay too much for the stuff. I need more stuff! It’ll open back up here soon.
Yes, I get dumb questions and I usually try to answer them. Probably back in January, I had someone asking me the specific measurements for a Large polo shirt (Ralph Lauren). I responded that it's Large. He kept asking me. I finally just ignored him and never measured the shirt. He eventually went away. I get people asking for information that's plainly written in the description. I have responded that their question is answered in the description. But then I get a response back that I'm being rude. The problem is that many people simply don't read descriptions. But in their defense, using the Ebay app, the description does sort of get lost in all the other listing garbage. A few months ago I was selling Mah Jong tiles and a person asked me a question I couldn't answer. I ended up exchanging a lot of messages with this person over several days and learned a lot about Mah Jong tiles and was able to rewrite my listing to be much more accurate. My only defect on my account is from a sale I cancelled after the person had purchased but not paid. He was very difficult with exchanging offers and spent the offers with messages trying to intimidate me to a lower price. I reluctantly did accept his bid when he raised it to an acceptable level (my mistake), but after I accepted his bid, he doesn't pay and instead starts sending me messages that he thinks the item is broken in the pictures, etc. It was a large item that was breakable and difficult to pack. I no longer felt comfortable with him and just cancelled the sale and took the defect. So if someone is a problem before buying, yes, go ahead and block them. Not worth the trouble.
Thank you Kevin, I didnt mind if my name was used. I don't have a UA-cam channel (yet), the name attached to my real name is just my store name. Tell Reagan she is amazing and inspiring. I hope she remembers that show for a very long time, she was 100% a superstar. Great job mom and dad!
awesome. Did you know you won that olympics hat? I don't think You ever contacted me with an address. I mention it on tonights show. Send me an instagram or an email.
Mine was Gary Vee. I’ve always enjoyed flipping stuff on a local level and never knew realistically that I can do it on a larger scale on eBay. Dumb I know lol From there I UA-camd away. Reyes The Entrepreneur, Hustle At Home Mom, Shed/Garage Flips, Cincinnati Picker..Ralli Roots...the list goes on. It’s kinda cool to see its pretty much one little circle that all support each other for the most part lol
@@CommonwealthPicker Please advise: I bought 9 Foodsaver Handheld vacuums that could be sold for at least 2x the cost, all are brand new still sealed, but the hard plastic package of each have some damages; some are rip or torn that could cause cuts when opening the item, what would you do in this situation?
Sometimes I ignore questions just because I am busy. People asking for hard-to-do measurements or photos on low-cost items just aren't worth the time. Low-ball offers get high-ball replies, sometimes higher than the quantity discount they would get if they just bought it. (Occasionally they buy at the reply price.) I see you have a common Oregon plate, they have over a dozen specialty plates. (Crater Lake, Bicycle (for car), etc. support charities.) My number of listings is on the increase, between sourcing more and no listing fees for a few months.
@@CommonwealthPicker My problem is my huge death pile is growing fast, full of items not worth listing. An example: bought an assortment of 550 items for $150 shipped, sold 10 items for $250 within a week, have about 100 items listed for $200 total, about 50 items are listable but to close to existing listings and low value. Most of the rest can be sold locally in large lots for $0.10/item if I'm willing to deal with craigslist buyers.

They bought the item and was a jerk and ended up returning it. I should have blocked them quicker.
Yes, I get people who will send me a message asking if I'll take a ridiculously low price rather than just sending an offer. That's what the offer button is for. Duh!
I'm starting to ignore questions involving offers, but I think I'm going to ignore all of them from now on. Justin from RVA flips and I joke around about having the "curse of the question". If we answer someone's question about the item, the person won't end up buying it.
