I have watched this so many times. This is the most thought provoking heartbreaking meaningful interpretation of Sam and Dean I’ve ever seen. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this- imagining the narrative like this is just a whole new whirlwind (hurricane) of emotions 🥹

You captured perfectely what Spernatural is about. Supernatural is a tragedy and its heroes are doomed. The only thing that saves them from the abyss is their love for each other. (This is why the finale makes no sense to me.)

this is so so good i'm in awe! i also love that you used the scenes with meg in shadow. she was so sexual there in a way that's very interesting - and threatening - which is something i cannot get enough of
thank you so much! i'm glad you noticed the meg part--i would have definitely added more of her if i could find a spot that work but i think she was really important to include as another one of the demons that often symbolizes sexual violence--especially since she's azazel's daughter!
hmmmmm rewatched this and if possible i enjoyed it even more than the first time! 🖤especially the part between 1:28-1:43, it's truly insane. i love the idea of it and the way you tied each concept together here. love mary's spirit bound to their house in lawrence, kansas as being mama comatose and bedbound, just as ethel cain said. & sam so struck and awed by just being able to see mary and hear her speak, even if it's not really her anymore, they way she was when she was still alive. then sam uncomprehending unable to understand what mary's trying to apologise for, just wants to take the sight of her in as much as possible before mary's lost again............... actually mary in this scene has always felt to me to be /wrong/ in some way. like the blankness of her gaze, her smile when she sees sam is heartbreakingly beatific but it's so incongruous with the rest of the scene & i can't even tell if she fully knows what she's seeing, she appears to be struggling to form words and to know how to even form vocalisations or to use language after so long. then her eyes staring up dead and unseeing into the ceiling when she's set alight. comatose and unable to leave the bed, indeed 🤍 the rot and the flies and the smell of her carcase spreading all through that house too, i love the clip of the thick ooze coming from what im assuming is an electrical outlet? i think i recognise it as being ectoplasm but it looks in the lighting of the video like it could be blood!! especially with how dark and thick it is, menstrual blood!
