Your pronunciation of "sruthán" is incorrect. The "s" is broad, so is an s like in Silver.
In reality 'sr'+broad vowel is not consistently pronounced as /ss/. Where I come from, the west Kerry Gaeltacht of Corca Dhuibhne, you will hear sruthán pronounced as I do, with an /sh/sound. You may also hear the word sráid pronounced in this way. In Donegal, also, you may hear sráid pronounced with an /sh/ sound. I refer you to the dictionary pronunciation guide to listen to examples other than myself of this pronunciation. Here you can listen to Munster pronunciation of sruthán with /sh/ sound www.teanglann.ie/ga/fuaim/sruth%c3%a1n And here we hear the Ulster speaker pronounce sráid with an /sh/ sound www.focloir.ie/ga/dictionary/ei/street. It is important to understand that not everyone speaks in exactly the same way, even within a given region. I hope that you find this helpful 😉
