I’m not super experienced in linguistics but as a psychology enthusiast I had the idea of priming in my mind as the word pack connects to unpack more easily than to unbox or open etc
the more blenders the better actually, if you use them a lot they don't last very long. the more pencil laid down, the better they work you can def layer red over blue to get purple, thats the point of coloured pencils, you can create so many colours with layering. not 100% sure how these tri colour ones would work with layering but should do the same thing with them
Yeah, I've got a set of watercolour pencils which I pretty much only use as pencils because my colouring books can't take the water, and I use the white in the set as a blender (works well for that without lightening the darker colours much if at all, but its labelled a white not blender) and its the most used so far. I actually think it was nice of them to include an extra blender, though since Kasey has less experience with pencils (you can tell just by how hard she presses with them) it makes sense that she wouldn't realise that they could run out quicker.
Yeah so its Madder Gold as opposed to maddergold. Though when she first said it I thought it was Maddigold and maybe just a typo when they labelled them and it was meant to say Marigold.

Ailin ran My aunt is a diabetic and her hands swell as well as her legs and feet depending on her insulin level or blood sugar levels, I cannot remember which one tbh, but I know Kasey is diabetic. That might be why her ring looks tight. ALSO... my ring looks like that on me when I am working with my hands a ton or if it’s really hot outside. And I wear a size 4 wedding ring, my fingers are very slim and small. 😂 in the winter when it’s cold my ring will slide off extremely easy. Our bodies do some weird things as we get older. 😜

It actually is a good idea to include a second blender. If you use coloured pencils a lot you can run through them pretty quickly because not only do they blend different colours together, but they also help smooth out texture that you don’t want, and make the colours themselves more vibrant when you add the blender on top.

peg korom - Then what's the point of braided leads? I've already lost the menu for this month, but I believe it said something about these pencils requiring "minimal wrist movement" to get all three colors to come through.
@@bluesonicstreak7317 yes...it requires a small amount (minimal) of wrist movement to get the colors to shift. Try it ... you will see it works. I dont know nuttin about braided leads... I just think the language they used was confusing.

The blender is used to smooth the texture of the pencils. You still have to do the blending work with the colors, then you go over the whole thing with the blender to make it smooth, like you would do with hyper-realism. You can very easily use a white pencil in its place.
MrSasyB tbf it depends which type of pencils you're using. With prismacolours you use the white pencil to blend, however it's not quite the same with the Fabercastell polychromos pencils
Your little drawings are adorable. So happy to see you try smth new. You should use pencils more, instead of your usual 2 colour drawings. I love it when you add a bit of texture to your unique drawing style. It's fun and inspiring.
Marigolds are these big, tall yellow flowers that bloom around this time (late summer early fall) and they apply a massive sneezing debuff to people with a negative pollen stat.
Multi-coloured pencils put down different colours based on the direction you move them in and which side of the pencil you use: using them in a more traditional way like this (only moving back and forth and using only one side of the pencil and not the tip) will only show some of the colours and they will end up blending together and muddying up any colour. If you want them to work more as intended, use them the way you would a fountain pen: for linework and with techniques like hatching, cross-hatching, or etching.
My blenders always got short pretty fast, so it's actually really nice of them to supply two c:

A tip with fineliners on colored pencils, clean your fineliner tips after use (just by scribbling) to get any wax or oil off the fineliner :-)

For blending pencils, I find its best to lightly colour with plenty of overlap between; then blend with either a blender or a similar colour :)

I love those three-toned pencils. I have a set of Faber-Castell ones called "little mix" (Misturinha, in Brazil. Not sure if they have it abroad).
For forest, I would of drawn a tree resting. Bad pun or not? But loved the rainforest one.
