- A 2nd video of Leviar 65, with a slightly more optimized strategy (retreating Luna when she would be targeted by Leviar).
Since I started fighting Leviar 65, I have yet to fail an attempt when battling him.
Of note, for my clear, Luna is at 4*, Tiaris 4*, Bozel 5*, Liana 5*, and Lana 6*.
I'm pretty certain a 5* Luna, with a 5* Lana will work out just fine as well.

Very useful strategy. Old but works nicely for the previous levels as well.
Very useful information! I was able to beat Leviar 65 yesterday by modifying your strategy to focus on using my bow knight Luna since my Lana is still kind of weak. Ullr's Bow allowed Luna to stay in range of Tiaris for healing light and kept Luna near full to attack on my turn. Wind Spiral also gets rid of the Demonic Gaze debuff so I was able to both attack and counterattack just about every turn. I used Shelfaniel to help make sure I always had a faction buff up.
Based my run on your strat and was able to complete 65 at last. Thanks!
Used Narm instead of Bozel though. And Luna, Lana, and Narm all attack.

So I did this with 5 star Flyer Luna
5 star Sophia
5 star Liana
5 star Bozel
5 star Lana
I parked Flyer Luna in front of Leviar to protect Lana. This also ends up protecting my Liana as well. I had to upgrade some stuff on my Sophia because she wasn't healing enough but alas with the help of this guide I was able to beat it :D I was using Archer Luna and would have never thought to use Flyer Luna. I also had to get her an Emerald Lance hahaha so many resources. Thanks for the video Nitro :D
Yay! first lvl 65 ET cleared thx to ur guide! bozel dark reaper not getting clocked got my liana killed the following turn but like you said leviar was pretty much dead by then so i still managed...
wow.. thx. u solved all my problem... was having difficulties with this boss with the heros that i got...
i always thought i need 4 ranged dps to fight this boss..didn't know u can use 2 healer instead..
and didn't know the counter attack can contribute so much.

This still has rng. If it hits both your dps 1 time it’s pretty much gg. I don’t have (Lana)ngrisser and I’m trying with Renee. Super close at some point but not good enough. [Update] That being said, Rng can go both ways. 2 Clocks for Renee Annihilation and I finished it start of turn 6. Used your setup except Renne instead of Lana. Interesting choices for healers would be: Almeda, Imelda.
In your case, I suppose it's more luck based since you can't rely on high damage counterattacks (since enemy does't get the MDEF reduction).
But with Renne, it should be easy to earthquake Leviar and then toss out Renne - Annihilation with no counterattack?
i beat leviar 55 for the first time today, i used bozel chris sophia tiaris and alte in melee range to counter attack for about 15k damage. Would be so nice to have lana liana and luna for this one. Now i can beat every temple level 55.
It should definitely be possible for Lana to attack each turn with minimal adjustments. Though I suppose in the end it`s not necessary for the win.
Absolutely.
Attacking each turn with Lana will depend entirely on:
1. Your Lana being able to survive when attacking with damaged sorceress.
2. Your Liana healing Lana to full.
3. Demonic gaze not applying on Lana, of course.
That's all linked to upgrades, especially bonds and heart bonds. Which is a bit too expensive right now since there are other characters that really need those upgrades ^_^.
Is it possible to make a video of you not using liana? It seems like every tutorial requires her, but I wasn't fortunate enough to pull her.. and it seems like most stuff is impossible without her act again?
I would say all of the end-game content requires either a Liana (Again) or 5-6* Cherie + 5-6* Tiaris (80/100% chance to heal after battles & ATK blessing which lets Cherie 1-shot enemies). Sadly, my Tiaris & Cherie are both 4*.
For this fight, you need 2 healers, one of whom has to be inside Leviar's attack range.
One possible replacement is to replace Liana with Sophia (If yours is 5 or 6*. Again, my Sophia is a mere 4*). I actually don't have a 2nd healer that can stay inside Leviar's attack range.
Basically, I'm pretty much stuck with my party for my playthroughs until I can somehow get more shards / bonds of other characters.
I'll see what I can do for some of the easier fights though. Maybe the A+ Timeless Trials next week.

I have tiaris, but unfortunately missed out on liana and seems a lot of end game content really relies on her which is gutting.. no worries if you can't make any videos without liana, I always appreciate seeing your new langrisser videos and look forward to your future content! @@pezaroo1234 Just for your consideration. Using Cherie (Wild princess) + Tiaris (ATK blessing) combo basically gives you "Again" that way. After all, a 6* Cherie has wild princess cooldown of 2.
It won't quite apply for a fight like Leviar, but kicks in for most of the other end-game content.
Princess players (who use a mix of: Ledin, Cherie, Luna, Tiaris, Lana, Sophia, Liffany, Shelfaniel, Angelina, and of course Liana) only really struggle with Thunder Dragon (until an Elwin is built), and of course, eternal temple (which requires you to do all factions - and also wants Elwin lol).
I use cheri with lastnight (when u atk with cheri it does small dmg but applies lastnight effect which reduces levias atk) and angels and she does much better in counter attack and she takes no dmg cuz of angels. try it my team is Luna, Cheri, lana, liana and sophia cuz i dont have tiaris.
cheri skills is the aoe one to reduce leviars dmg delt.
My Cherie is 4*, without double class mastery. So for me, it's not worth using Cherie over Bozel.
The onli question is how yo get 1400 int. With lana in lvl 60?, i'm lvl 70 and play every day with lana at my vanguard and I cant even get 900?

didn't upgrade the ATK bond?
Remember this is also a battle where Lana gets extra stats due to being a recommended faction hero.
Any replacement or reliable alternate method without Lana?
You can do it with bozel and Narn, but you have to use more turns [(and a bit more rng based with the debuff)]*edit
Really, any ranged attackers that are of the factions (princess & dark) work, as long as long as they have their class mastery and are geared up would work.
Bozel, Egbert (who also has dark reaper), Liffany, Narm...
If mages, I do recommend equipping them with warlock's hood to since you probably won't have magic defense intimate.
Leviar still attacks Luna sometimes anyway
it should 100% be positioning dependent.
A stupid question, really, but still. Got any advice on beating the "not defeating Matthew" achievement in Lana's first bond with a lvl 60 Lana? She just one-shots him with counterattack, I'm stuck lol
uh... try removing her weapon or accessory so she doesn't one-shot him LOL.
As I recall, you spawn allies that map. Use the allies to kill him off?
Or just retreat east until the allies arrive.
@@Nitroglycerine they arrive after you kill two of the 3 starters attacking you, and Matthew always gets in the way. I'll try going naked. Maybe I'll even de-class her if that's not enough. Thx :D
I use a summon unit in this to pull matthew away while i kill the other enemies
well, I didn't have a summon on my Lana, but I stripped her naked, gave her melee troops and de-classed her to her first class, mage. Then I finally managed to NOT one-shot Matthew, LOL :D
Who do you use for LANA replacement when you don't have LANA?
Another ranged damage dealer that is princess or dark? Renne would be top tier.
Maybe Shelfaniel with endless cleanses. Narm, Egbert, and Liffany would all be possibilities if they're 6*.
lol, i put my flyer luna next to lv65 leviar and he killed himself by attacking her
haha yeah. that's another way to deal with Leviar. Have a melee character next to it that does counterattacks for good damage.
is it possible to beat with no luna?
Sure. max out your Lana's heart bond and have enough +HP% enchants on her to tank the Leviar strike. Mine still had a lv50 sage's hat rather than SSR helmet, so I really needed Luna's talent.
